The game is going well with over 20,000 posts.  Even so, we welcome skilled new players who fit into our post-pandemic society.  We are still looking for characters to join an active game.  If you have a good character concept, run it by us.

It is midsummer in the southern Midwest.  Winter is months away but we still must prepare.   Everything still works, for now but that will change.  We're based on an off grid prepper's small farm and the adjacent town.  Food and shelter are abundant.  Fuels, much less so. Other changes include animals that zookeepers, and others, released before they starved such as a small herd of mixed African antelope grazing in a hay field and hippos in the lower Mississippi River.  Tigers, lions, elephants, and whatever roam free.  Can you survive and prosper with us as we strive to restore and repopulate our area?

Characters with any of the following skillsets as secondary skills would be good but we are open to all character concepts.

1. Primary or secondary Skills, firstly Some of the aircraft mentioned are hobbyist-sport activities, whereas Bush-piloting is a certified Light Aircraft primary skill. As are the mechanical ground skills for flight operations.
   
   
2. Locomotive Operator/ Engineer, most of this person's work would be moving train cars to Midway from Point-A.  Some trips may be to move cars away from Midway because of limited storage space.  Some worker/guard/observer (other cab occupant) skills also needed for operating track switches.  This role will allow lots of potential conversation time with the other occupant of the cab who will probably be of the opposite sex.
   
   
3. Backyard inventors, DIY's, Tinkerers, Popular Science contributors & innovators needed. Special Effects guys/ gals from the Movies a plus.
