Deathwatch - Fratrum Angelorum
The Eye of Damocles is a Watch Fortress of the Deathwatch. This watch fortress monitors the borders of Imperial space with the Tau Empire. But while this is their holy charge, many more threats fall under the purview of the watchful Eye. To the galactic west lies the brutal Ork Empire of Charadon. To the south, splinters from Hive Fleet Kraken continue to ravage any world they come across. And in every shadowed corner of this troubled portion of the Sea of Stars, Eldar plot and scheme against the realms of mankind.

It is the Eye of Damocles that you call home in the years since you have taken the Apocryphon Oath. Five long years of shadowy war in the service of the Deathwatch. Your Kill-Team has made itself a well deserved reputation for valor and tenacity in the right circles.

Watch Captain Jilantis has commanded you through every mission, and the passing of years. He is a fair, if distant, leader, with an iron-clad pride in the deeds of his more youthful years. However, with so many threats to the areas protected by the Eye of Damocles, he has grown more harried as the years have gone on. He hides it well, but one does not serve so closely with others and hide such a thing.

But stretched thin or not, your Kill Team has many duties to perform with so many enemies surrounding your domain. Watch Captain Jilantis has called for an assemblage of the Kill Team from their downtime activities. From the tone of his voice, he sounds angry. And the old warrior does not anger easily...

Seeking players for a Deathwatch game. This will NOT be a first come, first served kind of game. I know some view Space Marines and the Deathwatch RPG as simply a combat game, but I see real narrative potential and interesting plot hooks built into the Astartes.

This game will be a bit slower paced outside of combat posts. Expect about 3-5 GM posts a week.

So if you are looking for a good story, with hopefully a few curve balls thrown your wall, drop me an RTJ.

Deathwatch - Fratrum Angelorum
This is a revival of a game that unfortunately petered out. Let's try this again, slightly different:

Twenty-five long years of shadowy war in the service of the Deathwatch. Kill-Team Sparthos has made itself a well deserved reputation for valor and tenacity in the right circles.

But every age comes to an end. What began as a fractured group of Astartes from various Chapters has grown into one of the finest units that has ever fought against the enemies of Mankind. By the reckoning of your masters, the time has come for you to return to your home Chapters, and bring with you the hard-won lessons of Xenos killing. However, that time may be fast approaching, but it is not this day.

Three months from now, Kill-Team Sparthos will cease to be. But in the meantime, you are expected to perform your duty to the best of your ability. In transit onboard your Kill-Ship, The Sword of Damocles, you receive a transmission from your Watch Master. Even though you have just returned from an assassination mission against Big Mek Kurgrokk on Badlanding, your ship is the closest in the area for this important mission. A fleet of Missionarus Galaxia ships on the way to Nimbosa to counteract any Xenos influence has been set upon by an unknown force. From the garbled Astropath communique, a rift of some kind has opened in the void, spilling attack ships against the holy Mission. Whether this indicates the foul Dark Eldar or the Archenemy, the transmission didn't say. However, what is known is that Arch-Confessor Augustus Degunya and Canoness Superior Brigulata of the Order of the Silver Lilly are on board the command ship.

They are far too important to be slain or fall into enemy hands. The Sword of Damocles has changed course, and will soon arrive into an ongoing battle. Your primary mission is to save the Arch-Confessor and Canoness Superior. All other concerns are secondary. Do not fail...
