Nov 9th 2031 Social Justice activist and Globalist candidate Martha Winston won the presidential election running on extreme energy regulations, government control of businesses, and rescending the Constitution platform. Winston won most counties and her victory was tied to a major blue wave which gave liberals a super majority. People crowded the cities in celebration and ending a conservative powerbase that existed for two decades.
In March 2032, Congress successfully rescended the U.S. constitution with a planned date of for the new revised constitution to begin at end of May 2032. Forty two of the fifty states denounced the move and demanded the original constitution be restored in its entirety. Citizens were immediately stripped of their rights and Police with National Guard support entered homes to remove firearms starting massive protests.
In April 2032, the U.S. Government requested UN Peacekeeper troops to stabilize the country. The request brought condemnation by 72 retired General Officers.
In May 2032; UN Peacekeeping forces arrive in all major cities to end the massive protests and rioting. After two incidents in which thousands were killed by peacekeeping troops, thirty two retired Generals and Admirals call for the people to rise up and reclaim the federal government. Washington DC demands states to detain and cease activities, but 46 states refuse to act against their citizens. Street Riots, Major looting, vandalism takes place, and businesses shut down as survivalists flee to their private shelters. The nation has entered a state of chaos.
First responders begin abandoning their posts and organizing into survivalist groups leaving the inner cities to criminal organizations. Major cities begin to resemble Mogadishu 1990s as local gangs begin patrolling their streets expanding their territory, and claiming the title of warlord.
This IS NOT A DEBATE ON POLITICAL IDEOLOGY.
This is a story about how a group of people banded together to survive. It is up to the group to decide whether to fight and reclaim their city or their nation. Survival is just the status quo.
