2099: Prophecy is a game where each of the PCs die, whether by murder, accident, suicide, or some other way does not matter. Once the PCs “awaken” on the other side though...things are different.
A select few PCs will be different from the others in regards to how they arrive on the other side.
The game will be exploring the ideas behind human awareness, consciousness, and free will. There will be a horror element to the game.
Taking inspiration from various sources such as:
Attack on Titan
Halo
West world
Warhammer 40k
The “year” is 2099 for the era we will play in, a steam punk universe. Details will be released later and worked out with players.
Familiarity with Savage Worlds is not required. We are using the Newest rules, the adventure edition.
WARNING: While the game is rated Mature, I intend for the game to have DISTRESSING and HOPELESS situations that result in death or other tragic endings. These will be reoccurring themes throughout the game. Please use discretion when deciding to apply.
