Have a game idea that lends itself to solo play or small groups? Is the game dark and / or supernatural? Is there romance and eroticism involved? Then here you can pitch me your game and if I like it I may either run it or play in it in a SINGLE game thread here. Or if I don't, another player may well do so in my place.

This is one of those solo plot thread style games, like Tales of Two or Collaborations. BUT

1. The stories are expected to contain both supernatural and sexually charged themes.

2. It is possible to have more than one player in a thread but group sizes should be kept small (max 3-4 players).

3. A game system may be used, but in general free-form will be the main here.

4. Players can control more than one character per thread but realistically you should keep to a maximum of 7 characters per thread (major NPCS plus PCs)

Synopsis

Cydonia, Mars, 2236. The newly terraformed Mars has now built up to a sizeable farming colony but much of the planet has yet to me fully explored. When surveying a site for mineral mining, workers have come across the ruins of an ancient alien temple, the first ever sign of the existence of sentient extra-terrestrial life. A small team of scientists has been dispatched to unlock the temple's secrets.

Doctor Isaac Jones, Male, 37. Heterosexual. A British Xenoarchaeologist assigned to lead a team of explorers to excavate the temple.

In either case she is not responsible for the dark thing that terrorises the village. Will she be able to put a stop to the madness before the witch finders accuse her and put her on trail?

Game Title: The Vampire's Guest

Synopsis

Megan Tice, a young writer of mystery and the paranormal has been asked by her publisher to write a book about a particular matter of local history/folklore, with her travel and boarding arranged.  She arrives to find her boarding is in a mountain castle overlooking the isolated town below.  In this unfamiliar place, Megan experiences strange happenings and seemingly paranormal events her curiosity compels her to investigate.  But those events may be the least of the danger, for Megan's host is a cunning and  vampire, who has chosen her to join them for eternity.

Megan Tice.  Female, 23, bisexual.  A young writer hoping to make it big, Megan enjoys mystery, the paranormal, and has watched entirely too many horror movies!  Megan enjoys spooks and chills a bit too much, is terrified of public speaking, and can happily lose herself in a decent library.

The Host.  Gender undetermined.  -  An intelligent and seductive vampire, the Host has commissioned a book through Megan's publisher to draw her to their domain.  Only the Host knows why they have have chosen Megan.  Required role.

Inhabitants of the castle.  -  Those who dwell in the castle serve the host, and can include mortal servants, vampires, and others.  Any of these not requested by a player may be controlled by the Host's player.

Megan's friends.  -  Someone who knows Megan and wanted to join the trip.  Whether they keep her out of trouble or get her into it depends on them!

Interlopers.  -  Rival vampires, daring thieves, or even brave vampire hunters, there may be someone involved that the Host has not planned for.


The Vampire's Guest is a gothic tale of isolation, mystery, and twisted romance.  Megan is trapped by geography and her own curiosity, and simply cannot ignore strange happenings (which may not even be connected to the vampires).  The precise setting is negotiable, but leaving requires considerable effort.

While protecting this new Hellmouth, Buffy, Giles, Willow and Xander, along with Faith and Robin Woods formed a new Watcher's Council with Giles as the head of it since he is the watcher with the most experience. As for the newly activated Slayers, Buffy and Faith take charge of training them to use their powers responsibly and then give them a choice of staying and helping out, or returning home and keeping watch over their communities.

That was five years ago. Things have kind of quieted down around the Hellmouth, though it can still get exciting during Apocalypse season. But unbeknownst to the Scooby Gang, there is a new darkness lurking on the horizon that is coming to challenge them once again.

A British heavy metal band has just signed a record contract and sales in their records are soaring in Japan. They have been asked to go on tour there but none of them have ever been to the country before. Their lead singer, Andrew Issac is looking forward to the trip but he will need an interpreter and guide.

This game will be a romance tale of sorts, between Andrew and his interpreter. But being this site is for darker tales then it would be good to add some supernatural or horror elements. I can discuss this with my writing partner.

Game Title: Abandon all hope.


Synopsis

WARNING: Here be triggers. This one will touch on dark themes, primarily suicide and madness / depression.

Some would see it as cowardice, but for her it was the bravest thing she could do. Also, the right thing. The only way to escape the pain, the fear. She couldn't bear the burden any longer. There would be no note. This was no cry for help. It was merely an escape, a release from suffering and into blissful non-existence.

Void, nothingness. Nothing existed. So why was she still aware? The only thing that seemed to exist now was her and that terrified her. She had done this to escape existence and in what seemed like a cruel irony she was now the only thing that did exist.

Then there was the mouth. A large, smiling mouth that materialized out of the void. It's grin was disturbing; it wasn't the smile of a sane person. And then, in a soft male voice it spoke.

"Wake up, Alice. Time to face your fate."

It took a few seconds to realize it was addressing her. Her name was not Alice. She tried to speak but no words came out.

"I won't ask again. WAKE UP!"

The darkness receded, She opened her eyes.

I will play various parts as the game progresses. Many will be antagonists but there will be some that will aid the main character and one who will provide a love interest and potential salvation.

'Alice'. This isn't her real name. Any concepts will be considered for her but that premise is that she has just committed suicide, the nature of which, and the reasons for which can be discussed with the player. I do like to play alongside Asian women but that isn't a requirement if that is not your thing.

Other Notes

I intend this to be a psycho-sexual head f&*k of a game, exploring depression and madness that could either end badly or well depending on how it plays out. I am basing it very loosely on America McGee's Alice and Alice - Madness Returns so that should give you an idea of the flavor of the game. Except this 'Alice' is a woman and the story will be darker and more erotically charged than the games themselves were.

Synopsis

A germ of an idea, exploring a sexually-charged relationship between two people from different countries communicating via video chat during the COVID-19 lockdown. They would basically be asking each other to do various sexual things whilst the other party watches. The direction this can take can be discussed beforehand and I may add some supernatural or horror elements depending on what is discussed.

I can play a male or female character. I am thinking, though, that this may be more interesting if the person at the other end has no video feed themselves, so they are watching what the other character is doing but the other character cannot see them. This may need to be discussed as there needs to be a reason why the other character would agree to this.

I haven't seen any games on this site that deal with the current pandemic in any way. This is likely because its something that we are all affected by but to use current affairs in a story like this could prove interesting.
