Our game is an old-school sandboxish campaign using the Basic Fantasy retroclone. For full details, see the bottom of this post.

Due to players ghosting, our game ground to a halt. however, we have three highly dedicated players and a committed DM.

We are recruiting players to take over current characters and play them until the next time the party returns to Morgansfort, their base. after that, you can choose to continue using the character or create a new one.

We currently have spots for:

The Northlands. Once it was a frontier province of the mighty Urdish Imperium. The empire fell centuries ago, and all that remains of it is an island colony, ruled by a chieftain who calls himself "Emperor." That and a handful of free cities, towns, and fortresses on the mainland ruled by descendants of imperial subjects and nobles. They bow to no tyrant but must be strong to survive.

Rich in opportunities for both plunder and valor, the Northlands are in need of heroes--and perhaps even sellswords. Come forth to Morgansfort, help the people of this land hold back the darkness and make your name great.

Quests of the Northlands is a sandbox-ish campaign using the Basic Fantasy Role-Playing Game (BFRPG) retroclone ruleset, which recaptures the feel of the early editions of D&D. The adventures used are drawn from BFRPG materials, old issues of Dungeon Magazine and the Dungeonmaster's frontal lobe.
