5e Murder Hobo Madness
Somehow, wherever you are, you came across this note:
Woe to Clan Akroid. All is naught. I am the last of my clan, the mighty black dragonborn Clan Akroid. I was once Prince Charize Akroid, but this is the last I shall ever say that name. Henceforth, I take upon the name of my clan. I am now Clan Akroid. The Red Legion did this. Those haughty dragon slayers. I know not of their full strength of numbers, but our Clan of fifty was outmatched 10 to 1 on that day. I swear revenge and only revenge. The spoils of war are yours if you will join me. I am staying at River's Wind Tavern in Mirabar and will head out on the Autumn Equinox.
Not weird at all that it was written in blood.
ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN: It's a murder hobo experience. Your NPC leader has been driven mad by Tharizdun. Will you be able to help him regain sanity by killing all of his enemies? Or will it drive you mad as well???
ABOUT THE DM: I'm not a rules lawyer or a stickler for realism. I'm not a numbers cruncher. I drop pop-culture references all the time. If a player suggests something "out of the box" I'll go with it. I'll trust you to keep track of your character sheet and equipment and gold, and when you start getting too powerful the bad guys will just get harder, but ultimately I want you to win and us all to have fun role playing.
