In the mid 1850s a religious commune founded the town of Celestia believing the Apocalypse was at hand. During and after the Civil War, unfortunate circumstances - both without & from within - saw the town's residents lose faith and leave the area. The land that the now abandoned town sat was brought at auction by a group of individuals who were supernatural beings in disguise and they kept the town alive, attracting new residents and expanding its limits.

Today, Celestia is still a small but vibrant town, situated between the nearby towns of LaPorte to its east & and Eagles Mere to its west along Route 42 in Sullivan County, sitting along the base of the Endless Mountains of the Appalachias.

The town is home to humans and a small supernatural population that remains hidden & secret from the rest of the normal residents.
