Mazes and Minotaurs is a FREE set of gaming rules (available at http://mazesandminotaurs.free.fr/revised.html) set in mythical Greece and involves adventure, battles, and encounters at times with the Greek Gods we know well (Zeus, Hera, Athena, and so on).

This advertisement is for a long-standing Mazes and Minotaurs Game which had opened up back in May 2012. While the game has been on many hiatus (some short, some long) over the past 6 years, I currently have a good group of four players who have been with me since the beginning. I am looking to add to their numbers and opening up the game for recruitment of new heroes.

Please note that a restriction for new characters is that any class that is already played by somebody else is locked out. Right now the only classes locked are Nobles, Hunters, and Elementalists. All of the other basic classes are available to play, and for this new recruitment period I am also opening up almost all of the alternative classes for play.

Prior to sending a RTJ please review the public threads for character creation and the house rules. Please also let me know your preferred character class, and a second choice should your first pick no longer be available. A general character concept will be helpful as well. Finally, please let me know your familiarity (if any) with the Mazes and Minotaurs game system and a general idea of how often you think you may be checking in / be able to post.

Mazes and Minotaurs: The Next Generation!

Hello all! Since May 2012 I've been running a Mazes and Minotaurs game on RPOL that has been on hiatus at different points throughout the past 8 years, and most recently on hiatus since March 2020 (due mostly to COVID)

However, I'm looking to revive this game once again with the next generation of players! (Star Trek reference intentional) New players may be joined by one of our veterans if they decide to come back as well, but otherwise as a new player you'll be starting off at Level 1 and starting a brand new adventure with quests, dungeons, monsters, you know the drill.

All character classes are open to play

However!

In your RTJ:

1. Please also let me know your preferred character class, and a second choice should your first pick no longer be available.

2. A general character concept will be helpful as well.

3. Finally, please let me know your familiarity (if any) with the Mazes and Minotaurs game system and,

4. your expected posting rate.

09/27/20 - Still looking for some new players to join us in this game. A majority of the prior players are still on board, and we've just had an Archaeologist join the group.
