Coronavirus special! Bummed out with social distancing? Interested in Science Fiction? I can add a few players to this thing.
100 Worlds is a science fiction game, using the rules from Cepheus Engine, which is a generic Open Content version of Traveller. Cepheus Engine was cobbled together from the Open Content parts of Traveller (and a fine job of cobbling it was). The best thing about it- it is available for “Pay What You Want” So, five different people might have five different versions of Traveller, or they might not have it at all, but they ALL have access to Cepheus Engine.
The 100 Worlds is my own setting, so there will be some significant differences for experienced Traveller players. The universe is 3D, for one. The game is not going to be a Space War Campaign, it will not be a monster hunting space terror shoot-em-up. Nor will it be a math-fest of calculating space cargo costs. This is going to be a social, human story about a ship and its crew Getting By, when the rest of the Universe is having trouble. Shows like Firefly are the inspiration, but not the only inspiration.

The ship Nellie Bly is hiring. It belongs to a documentary journalist, who lost most of her crew when they realized that the subject matter she was delving into was a little too potentially dangerous. A wide variety of character types will work here.

Aside from that, I could possibly fit in players in other roles.
Across the 100 Worlds, humanity is divided by ideology, possibly on the verge of falling into separate, armed camps. There is a rising tide of discontent. Humanity in the 24th century is facing a crisis of identity, of values and ethics. And of course... other issues.
Character generation for Traveller/Cepheus engine can be a game in itself. If you do not want to go through this, if we can work out what you are looking for, a character can be created for you.
This is a "rules lite" game, dice are not going to be a constant feature, and the pace will not be fast.
