PbtA Dying Earth game...

The place: the planet Earth.

The time: about 5 billion years from now. Maybe 6. Maybe more. No one remembers for sure.

Come along to The Ziggurat, the last refuge for the remaining remnants of humanity (and some other folks).

...Or is it the last refuge? A very weak-signal message just came in from somewhere else... could it really have been sent by other humans? And was it meant to be a call for help, or was it just an invitation to go visit?

You're one of the people who intends to go find out... even though it means (gulp!) going Outside The Ziggurat...

Role-play in a setting where the sun died out long ago and the world is dimly lit by giant lamps shining from the moon and a few man-made satellites (at least, we think those are satellites? No one remembers for sure).

We already have one PC, using the Monster playbook (EDIT: and now a second player using the Mad playbook (EDIT: and, now, a third player, using the Psi-mage playbook...)), but so far all the others are free.

The playbook Outside The Ziggurat is the one all players use, to help shape the story (along with the GM, of course).

Is the game based on an existing pbta games? How are you doing play books?

The only one I've read is The Eyes of the Overworld, sometimes titled Cugel the Clever.

Mostly I'm doing my own made-up stuff, with a little of the last Elric book, or whichever one it was that was at the end of time.

It's based more than anything on the PbtA game FARFLUNG.

Come and take a look at the playbooks I've made/adapted, or else tell me what you want and I'll make you something special like I might do for Rialto.
