An Urban Fantasy setting, the world is similar to The Dresden Files (But its not The Dresden Files), the worlds of Charles de Lint, Guy Gavriel Kay, Teri Windling and so many others...

The story is a procedural investigation drama involving a handful of deaths, most prominent among them, the death of a beloved local artist who founded the "Seavan Mythopoeic Arts" movement.

PCs should be human or maybe human with a special gift or two.  Not looking for 500-year old vampires, were-bears or masters of the magical arts.  There may be opportunity to become something more than human in the course of the game, depending on player action.

Ideal PCs would have ties to one of the local victims, would be investigating the deaths, or have ties to the local arts community.

I'm looking for only four players.  The pace will be relaxed--one or two posts a week on average.  I'm thinking this is a 600-1200 post story.
