Nearly five centuries ago a great battle ended a war against The Great Evil, and the human Empire of Gi became a theocracy, ruled by The Church. Arcane magic, seen as the cause of the war due to the mages having traded for power with the forces of evil, was banned upon the penalty of death and The Church sent its Inquisitors to scour the land of the remaining wizards. Since those days, the humanity has found peace and prosperity.

Humans are not the only race in existence - there are dwarves, elves and halflings, but races other than human are considered to be second class citizens (if even that) in Gi, even though the dwarves are considered good craftsmen. Elves mostly live in slums in the human settlements, or serve as slaves to the rich and powerful. Halflings, or Little Folk as they are called, travel the roads in caravans of wagons, moving from town to town. It is said, one best lock all valuables away when a halfling caravan comes to town.

Interested? Then wait no longer. The game will accept four to six players with best character concepts and a waiting list is set for those, who don't fit in at the beginning. The game is rated adult due to the darker themes waiting underneath the surface.

The system is Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 Edition. No Gestalt-characters. Starting level 1st.
