Hello there! I am the original creator of the "Tides of the Underdark" game on RPOL, and as the buddy I've passed that game onto has seemingly passed on, I've decided to take a different approach to running a campaign through the Underdark.

Depths of the Underdark is a vicious and brutal game, but with a bit of a twist. Players will actually be going through, level by level, and fleshing out their character's full history/background. From this background/history will come their character sheet, and then when the party is finished (4-6 players total) the party will be working together (just like a surface party, only more evil and underground) to accomplish things that might be otherwise impossible when by themselves.

We're going to be exploring dangerous, high intensity fights, battling obscene monsters, fighting unfairly advantaged cabals of wizards... all manner of horrendous Underdark threats will present themselves, and the party will be working together to fight and claw their way to the top.

If you are looking for a realistic (ish) roleplay of the Underdark, with PCs that may work together, but aren't exactly the nicest "hunky dory" fellows that pat each other on the back the whole time, then come and join us!
