The World of Ruin is a zombie post-apocalyptic game currently putting the "post" in "post-apocalyptic." It's set in the modern day, and there's a storm brewing poised to cover the whole world. Things are happening. A city in the grip of panic as people are getting sick, the news is reporting a new strain of a livestock flu now infecting people, and it is getting worse.

Right now we're in the prologue, and things haven't exactly collapsed yet, but the chaos is about to explode.

Hello!

I'm new to RPoL. I used to frequent Myth Weavers. I came here a while ago, created an account, looked around, and decided it wasn't what I was looking for at the time, but I'm now looking at this as a new permanent home. (I hope posting this here is correct; I don't know all the norms here yet.)

I'm new-ish to SWADE; I've never been a player in a Savage Worlds game. I've run a one-shot and a brief campaign, and I have the core rulebook, but if there are any traditions, conventions, or other expectations passed down orally in the community, I'm unfamiliar with them. I think I'm pretty conversant with the rules.

I'm a stay-at-home parent by day and teach English online to students in Japan a few nights a week. I generally have plenty of time to write and can check in multiple times per day most days of the week.

Please let me know if there's anything else I need to provide to be considered.
