"You fly through the air, the breath knocked from your lungs. A moment later, the dark waves swallow you whole. Water fills your nostrils, your mouth and your lungs, and quickly you find yourself sinking deep into the black depths of the ocean. As darkness begins to take hold, you feel the current caress you and pick you up, carrying you somewhere farther and farther..."

A Misty Island is a 5th edition game set in a mysterious island surrounded by the black, furious waters of the ocean and seemingly endless mists. It is a game of horror, tension, exploration and discovery - the demons you face will not only be ones of physical form, but also those of your own making as well.

It is a heavily roleplay-oriented experience with strong limitations in terms of races and classes. Combat will not be that important in the overall scheme, though will be featured, so gear your characters towards that. It's wisest to balance utility with some combat capability.

Your characters will find themselves washed up along a beach, most of their memories faded into nothing but distant reminders of a lost past. With no viable way to go home, they will be forced to seek help if they ever hope to recover what they've lost and find their way home.
