You are a member of the 1st Exotic Creature Extermination Company or more simply 'The Bladewall'. Common monikers include 'Hunters' due to the nature of the Company, as well as 'Redcloaks' due to their distinctive cloaks.
A specialist group, the Hunters are tasked with tracking down and eliminating various dangerous creatures that cause problems for the citizens of the Kingdom of Shadeside. These creatures can vary from the rather dull and mundane to the extremely intelligent and dangerous. Fortunately, Hunters work in teams based out of the Citadel, a fort based in the center of Shadeside along with a number of outposts and patrol routes spreading out from there.
While the game may seem fairly simple on the tin, the monsters you'll be going after will be anything but, along with the rather complicated issue of the Three Kingdoms being at war. Not with each other, of course. They have been at war for the past century with the Orcs that hide in their mystical Mist farther north. Not to mention the rather uneasy relations with the Free Cities in the south. At least the elves aren't riled up again.
