Well, to start (and probably for a while, at least) it will be shipboard.

Mostly I want to try out Tier Two spells and abilities, so I'm starting the game at 7th level. It will be a heavy combat game, with a bit of exploration down the road, and fairly limited role play.

The PCs will be the crew of a small ocean capable ship exploring nearly discovered lands for potential markets for their merchant employers.

Please be aware that characters must fit into my homebrew setting AND be capable of manning a ship at sea.

The Game has moved to the Exploration phase, which is mostly just mapping the coastline going south until something interesting is seen. We have lost 3 more people to the press of reality, although we still have half the original players and a first round (local)replacement.

As the Ship hits the Gulf of Mexico and the first signs of a civilization, we are in a position to replace our lost vikings with some found Aztecs.

Keep in mind that options for character and Background are fairly limited, although I've done what I can to broaden is out a bit. Also keep in mind that only Humans are available. There just aren't any of the usual (european based) races in Meso Amercican myth

Details are in the NEW RTJ thread at the top of the game thread list at the link above, and I will work with a player to get as close to what the player wants as the setting and situation allow for, if that is at all possible. The game will stay a Sea travel game, but it will involve mapping the coast of (and exploring the coast of) a new Continent. There WILL be some land adventuring, as well, of course, but short term and sporadically. Mostly it depends on how much time the crew decides to send on shore...and where.

Looking for replacement player for an 8th level fighter. An Aztec Battlemaster with some recently borrowed European armor.

The party is in the early stages of a dungeon crawl as a change of pace from Nautical adventuring, and about half way through their exploratory mission.
