You find yourself in the midst of a convoy of carts and carriages bringing much needed grain to the desolate towns of Icewind Dale. After the terrible spell of the Frostmaiden befell these lands some two years ago and blanketed it in perpetual night, guided convoys have become commonplace. For those unfamiliar with the terrain the Ten Trail is quickly lost underneath one’s feet in the darkness and frequent snowstorms.

By now you were supposed have arrived at Bryn Shander. Some of the traders are growing worried the guide has led everyone off trail and are shouting amongst themselves, their voices muffled by the howling winds. Getting information from up-front has proved difficult, and the only answer given is ‘it’s only a couple of hours away now’.

To make matters worse, some say they are seeing looming shadows in the distance, stalking the convoy.

Alright, I want to run Rime of the Frostmaiden, and am seeking five players to partake in this official D&D 5e adventure. While the scope of the book is large the plan is to keep it more modular, so that it doesn’t necessarily span 10 levels. Fortunately, the start of the book reads very much like a sandbox, so that’s how we’ll be keeping things. At least in the beginning.

I’ll be accepting applications up until the 8th of December. Check out the RTJ for more information!

1) This will be my first game on rpol.net, and i may need assistance with the various features of the site, and some guidance to navigate it.

2) What lvl you recon we will reach?
Should i invest in a character that will keep advancing his potential until lvl20?
Or should i build something with a lower lvl cap?

3) Is this weapon available as my rare item???

Having laid Apple to rest in duplicitous Easthaven, the party finds themselves in an unexpected scuffle with skulking band of Duergar. Once resolved, they hope to track down Sephek Kaltro, a cold-hearted killer on the loose, to end his spree of murder in the name of the Frostmaiden once and for all.
