The city of Venice has reached a new level of splendor and prosperity in 1230 due to the spoils of the Fourth Crusade.  But in the shadows, the kindred exist in an uneasy state.  The ancient prince, long renown for his tolerance of other clans, vanished over a decade ago.  His childe, Cyriacus, has taken the reigns of the city, claiming his sire has intentionally entered slumber.  But a rival for power in the city, the Ventrue Lenhard, claims he slayed Lucanus in a duel beneath the Cathedral di San Marco, and claims that the city should be his by right.  Now, the two sides of the conflict for control vie for the assistance of the third powerful faction in the city, the mystical scholars and associates of Mordiacus the Cappadocian, who seems content to let both sides wait in anxiety.

And still deeper, below the cold tension of the kindred, whispers say that a dark presence has fallen over Venice, one that feeds off of the growing fear of the kindred.

Looking for players to join a new Vampire game set in the city of Venice, 1230.  The rules for RTJs and players are listed in the game threads.
