5E Forge of Fury - Need 1 PC

Hello, I’m looking to run one of the following:

1. The Sunless Citadel from Tales from the Yawning Portal
2. Sinister Secrets of Saltmarsh from Ghosts of Saltmarsh (set in Forgotten Realms)
3. The first level adventure for the upcoming Candlekeep Mysteries book (this would take a little longer to get started as I don’t have the book yet)

I’d like to run something shorter (rather than an epic campaign) so we can (hopefully!) finish the adventure. I’m also going to try to move pretty fast by PBP standards. Anyhow, if it’s going great when we’re done, maybe we can transition to another adventure and continue. Please see more information in the RTJ for the game. Applications will be open for a minimum of 5 days, maybe longer. Thanks for considering!

I'd be interested.  New to this site, but played by post before.  Am running my kids through a 5th campaign, but jonesing to be a player myself, so this would be great.  Am reasonably familiar with 5th edition, but likely to encounter some edition confusion. How fast-moving are we talking?  More than a reliable post per day?

Thanks for asking! A minimum of one post per day is the goal, but that means from all PCs, and so I do think this means checking in with the game multiple times a day to make sure everyone’s taking their action in combat, verifying what they want to do when entering a new dungeon room, etc. There’s more information in the “request to join” if you follow the link to the game, and of course, don’t hesitate to send me a private message if you have more questions beyond that. I'd be really interested in a game levels 3-5, something just to differentiate the characters a bit more than level 1. Not sure what levels you have in mind for #1 and #2. Currently, the link is lacking any character creation/RTJ directions, but I tend to play a fairly standard set - no Dragonborn monks here.

I'd be interested in joining this game. Happy with first level. I've been gaming (mainly D&D, AD&D, 5e and Pathfinder) since the 80's, played by post in the days when a regular postal service was actually a thing. Happy to commit to a post a day. NZ time zone (GMT+12).

5E Forge of Fury - Need 1 PC

Hello,

I am looking for one new player to join a game of Forge of Fury. The other three PCs played through the Sunless Citadel together already. The rest of the party is:

A multi-classed human Rogue/Fighter
A half-orc monk
A dwarven cleric

So, an arcane character would be a great fit. The game is definitely dungeon crawl heavy. There are details in the RTJ, some of which may be dated, but please don’t hesitate to ask questions.
