Those burning questions... Those tales we want to tell!
Here you can share those great stories, get sage advice, and learn about other users experience.
The game concept is incredibly simple, and incredibly short. This is a fissure from community chat in that it has a simple rule. I'm gathering N players, and having each ask each (and every) other player just one gaming related question. It can be technical, or it can be about a gaming tale, or it can just be something simple; like what someone's favorite system is.
I don't know about anyone else, but I thrive on chatting about game about as much (or more!) than I do actually gaming. I really do want to get to know more people, but find a way to not monopolize any one person's attention. To get to know more people. I love that about RPoL! I love that variety. Even at my LGS, there are maybe fifty people, and often over the years very few new people arrive, while a few vanish, which I lament never striking up a conversation with.
This is a very simple idea. If we have three players, we'll have 12 germinal posts, 6 questions, 6 answers, with an exchange for each pair. That's pretty short, but still worthwhile. If, however, we get 8 players, that's 56 questions. and 56 answers. 112 germinal posts. Still, by almost all gaming standards, short.
So I hope you'll give this a try, I'd love to get to know you, or just learn something about you. I hope everyone who joins will also get to know the others better. Hey, we might even get some sage advice. :)
