What kind of a game is this?
Symphony of Brass is an RP-heavy campaign run using the FATE Accelerated system.
Players will strike it out as motley crews working for the corporation of their choice, discovering the city and shaping it as they progress their character through various events.
While I work out what your group will be doing when first collated, each readied character in it will have a short prologue of their own to introduce you to the setting.

What kind of a setting is it set in?
Symphony of Brass is set in the city of Lorehearth, the capital of the Fanyldran Kingdom, in a contemporary, steampunk-ish setting.
A "what-if" electronics weren't developed, and replaced entirely with mechanical technology advanced to the same state that electronics are in the modern day (20s aesthetic.)
This advanced technology, the work of artificers, is simply named Art. Art has many uses. Art can be beautiful, it can be dangerous, and it is the city's blood.
The world is populated by humanoid races with rare exceptions. There is also an absence of magic.
However, who needs magic when you can have the wonders of mechanical technology do anything for you?

What is the player powerlevel like?
Players will make unique characters that despite their inherent lack of superpowers (as a manner of speaking) are able to do what no one else can.
Be it through their skills, connections or their experience, they can fight their way out of anything, figuratively & literally.
(Players will be protagonists in their own right and are not likely to be put out of action.)

What house rules are there?
- I color format my DM posts (but you don't necessarily need to)
- An initiative rolloff is made instead of a Careful approach comparison.
- Absolute aspects aren't going to be allowed.
- FATE point refund as Inspiration for participating in out-of-scene banter &/or making a wily decision.

What is this game not?
- This game is not an adult game: romance & gore will not be focuses!
- This game is also restricted to the city of Lorehearth itself, so it's not technically open-world!
- I'm sorry, but this game is not for people who don't like to write!
