Dragons Flying From Over The Mountain (Pathfinder 2e)
In the three hundred years prior to this day, a lot has happened. When the Dragons first flew in from the East, the petty, squabbling races of Alphuria would clash over the most minor grudges. Wars were fought for no reason, people suffered and died. The hellfire that sprung from the dragons gnashing maw ended those squabbles. In an instant, the distant, xenophobic sentients were wiped out, leaving nothing but a few cockroaches, survivors of the cataclysm.
These survivors, however, did not take lightly to their brethern being slain. Four brave, charismatic adventurers appeared, Heroes who evened the odds in the favour of the survivors. The human warrior Edgar, city guard of Old Evras; The human wizard Haloise, last mage surviving after the fall of Old Evras; The Dwarf cleric of Irori, Dorvan, the first healer; and the Elf Ranger Laria, Greenwarden of Old Luriel. Together, these four lead a bloody charge, plunged their blade directly into the heart of the evil Dragon King, and forced the dragons back to their home over the mountains. The Heroes declared themselves the Lances of Evras and founded the city of New Evras, cultivating a strong, true alliance between the survivors of all races. New Evras grew and prospered, and the Living Forest of Luriel - protected by the Greenwardens - grew to help the citizens of New Evras forage, hunt, and construct buildings. The only surviving Dwarf Stronghold, Garge Brotuun, takes minerals from the heart of Alphuria for the effort. The Lances nominated a fifth from the populace, voted in by the people, to be the mayor of New Evras, and the five formed the Grand Council which witnisses the proceedings of fhe city to this day.
Today, the Festival of Banners is celebrated in New Evras to honor those who fell in the Dragon Wars, which means the local Adventurer's Guild is swamped with making sure that the 300 year anniversary is celebrated without the threat of monsters - especially the dangerous Dragonkin who have been recently making their way from the East. You aim to join the guild for some reason or another, be it for glory, coin, or experience, and the guild is welcome to have you. So come, Adventurers of New Evras, and unite under our Banner to keep the people safe, should the dragons come flying from over the mountain once more.

Hey everyone! This is my first game on rPol so I am still figuring out how the actual mechanics of the site work. I am a veteran DM though, so if you're willing to bear with me, I'm sure we can have a fantastic Pathfinder 2e campaign!
Also, spoilers alert, the dragons do fly back over the mountain eventually.
