A Pathfinder Adventure: The Demon Crown

The game has been running for a bit and I need someone to jump in and take over for a player that recently dropped out due to time constraints. You would be taking over an existing character and concept. I can tweak some things to make the character yours but for the most part you'd be stepping into someone else's shoes. Please see the game forum to properly send me your RTJ. Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply. Click the link to the game forum and you should be able to see the character concept etc. Thanks.

Bump. I've got a couple openings now if anyone is interested. Again, you'd be taking over an existing character so as not to disrupt the story/plot.

I am player in this game and I would like to recommend it. The GM has crafted a deep living world and lore a player can sink their teeth in, the players are committed to telling an epic story in an amicable way. Yes it's true the game requires a slightly higher "buy in" than usually expected from players as the characters you are "adopting" are not completely blank slates. However the GM and the players will assuredly give you the breathing room to make the character your own!

I feel like it would be easier to find new players if you didn't require taking over a character. It's not just a higher buy-in to take over a pre-existing character -- most players prefer to be able to choose a character's race and class, for instance.
This is in no way meant as an attack and is purely a recommendation, because this isn't the first place I've seen this but in particular I know pathfinder players tend to be averse to prebuilt characters in most circumstances

In reply to Aleph Null (msg # 10):

I agree... I understand the issue of story continuity... but indeed the only reason I'm not submitting a rtj submission is because I would much rather play my own character... not someone elses.  And yes I have indeed taken over an existing character in a game... and I have had fun with such characters but it was still a big thorn in my game play that I was not able to sculpt the character as most players do not put the level of detail I prefer in my personal characters.  Not saying that is always the case... but I'm a very type "A" personality... the world doesn't happen to me... I happen to the world around me... I do not play 'wimdow dressing' or simple support characters.  Not bossy... but VERY proactive and active.  Again it has been my experiemce at least over the past 30 years of gaming most players do not define the little details I like in a character its more then just hair and eye color but my details are based upon their background and origin... even a simple farmer boy by the name of 'Fenn' I'd have a reason why his name is such based upon his background and land of origin a society he's from.  Can't really sculpt a character with such details if I cannot write their origins. But don't let my comments keep anyone else from accepting your game! Best wushes GAME ON!!

Also Ghost Dog ~ "A modicum of rouge/rogue{lol}... can be most efficacious"...especially in character creation!  :)
