On the surface Meriden is a simple city in Massachusetts. Fairly large, fairly bustling, a source of envy for neighboring cities, but simple. Beneath that visage the shadows stir, hidden beings gather power for unknown purposes. Some do so for the betterment of everyone, some for the pleasure of themselves, and some for reasons far more sinister. The city continued like this for many years, but following a disastrous thunder storm in April 2015, which damaged many parts of the city and killed many people, it seems this stirring starts to step out of the shadows as more and more strange things occur.
