The prisoners in the stockade can hear the sounds of fighting at the gates of the pirate compound. Could that be someone is coming to free them? A heavy laser on the building beside the prisoner compound is firing at something at the front gate and they also taking fire. Then one of the laser gunners is hit and killed! At the front gate the sound of laser pistols and gyrojet weapons can be heard along with explosions, probably grenades. The combat robots in the forward guard towers are also firing at something at the front gates.
If there was ever going to be a chance to escape, this was it!

The current playing group includes a human, vrusk, dralasite and yazirian plus all the main skills are covered so new characters have all the options available :)
