New  Age of Legends - Metahumans and Vigilantes Wanted
New Age of Legends is an original content superhero roleplaying game.  We will draw inspiration from Marvel, DC and other comics as well as light science fiction influences.  Setting information will be given in broad strokes to allow the players to set the tone to the degree they wish.

The action of the game is set primarily in three urban centers of the United States, New York/New Jersey, Maryland/DC and Detroit though players are free to take their play wherever suits them.

Included in the setting information are a number of groups.  Among them are the following. A loosely formed "guild" of vigilantes communicate via the darknet to aid one another with their crime fighting. S.T.R.I.P.E. (Strategic Tactical Reserve Intervention, Protection and Enforcement) is a government agency made up of a mix of superhumans and military leaders tasked with responding to superhuman threats. Powertech, inc. is part PR firm, part police force for hire. They employ a great many superhumans they assign to cities around the nation as protectors... for a steep price.  Cosmos Laboratories is a scientific think-tank with mysterious roots.  It claims to function purely for the advancement of science, but might there be hidden motivations? Along with other lesser organized criminal organizations, there is Overgang, an criminal organization with a nearly fantatical following and some faux-religious overtones.  The Metahuman Alliance is a group of metahumans who see flaws in the traditional power structures of the world and believe the answer to the world's problem is rule by metahuman.  Finally, you have the Walpurgisnacht Society, a loose collection of the wealthy and powerful who get together behind high walls to have parties that start salacious  rumors and make their secret plans to rule the world.

Join one of these groups or create your own team!  There will be loosely organized room activities and a lot of sandbox play.

We have an optional system for conflict resolution based on the indie RPG The Pool which has been streamlined and simplified for the purposes of easy use in online play.  We call it the Droplet.  It allows for some randomization and resolution of conflicts between players if people want to use it.  Using dice is entirely optional.

We have rated the game adult because the GMs believe in freedom of expression

Hello, sorry I didn't answer sooner, I didn't know if it was OK for me to post any replies before my bump date.  But now it is time for me to bump the topic.  It seems to be a... mid-level game.  Somewhere north of Daredevil and south of the Justice League.  Though you can hit us up with whatever character you've got in mind and we can discuss as necessary!  And, really, since we use a sort of narrative based system, any level character is welcome, within reason.

Also... Bump. We're a very active game and looking for very active players.  Still welcoming applications!
