Many things will seem familiar as you play through this game. But the familiar serves as only a focal point to larger adventures ahead.
Somnium Island, is a large island with several port cities and scattered small towns. Though for you its your home land. The small town of Marsh Creek is where you grew up. Located beside a small swamp, the town is a town of farmers and tradesmen. Not an exciting life by any means. To that end you left to seek training in your respective field. Its been years since you have been home. It is both a happy occasion and a sad one for your return. Having completed your apprenticeships, you've come back to Marsh Creek to have a reunion with your childhood friends. But the death of one of them has cast a dark cloud over the reunion. Thomas the Blacksmiths son was killed in an accident a few months prior to your return. You've learned few details about his death, but having returned you now have a chance to find out what happened to your friend.
