We have just concluded the first social event. Connections have been formed, passions inflamed, rushed proposals have been made, reputations endangered, conspiracies are being woven behind the scenes, and a Duke's daughter has gone missing. It is the 4th of April, and we have concluded the first official wedding of the Season, the rapid union between the Duke of Devonshire and Miss Fitzroy, the granddaughter of the Duke of Grafton, which sent all the tongue wagging. Meanwhile a Contessa has been replaced by a Doppelganger and nobody seems to be taking notice!
