Finally finding her footing Tanzy moves to flank, her borrowed rapier and dagger in each hand. It’s difficult to get past the tentacles but she manages to land a few blows.

Now that he was inside the room, Raknesh could fire more arrows, with the hope his lack of movement wouldn't make him an easy target.

But the numerous tentacles and the chaos of the fight caused him to miss a few times.

This is a nightmare!! Perkins exclaims, leaping back from a tentacle that whips toward him. Any bright ideas?! What if we trapped him in here instead? Can anyone block the door with something? Leave him in his filthy den?

The motherwitch shrugs and grips Bryon by the waist with surprising strength. You are firmly upright and not going anywhere. Concentrate dearie. I'll keep you steady unless that wretch tries to blast you again. Anyone else who needs a steadying hand, make your way to me. That offer is mostly for you Prizzard... she arches a brow. She's near enough you could make it to her easily should you wish, and she's not in direct range of the cleaner yet either so it's a tempting option. Meanwhile the cleaner goes for Raknesh and Tanzy, seeing them as the biggest threats. It shoots out two tentacles at Raknesh, but he's able to barely avoid them. Barely. Tanzy, however, is not so lucky and it grips her by the leg...Perkins immediately rushes the thing, clawing and biting at its head ferociously.

ooc: Tanzy, go ahead and roll a few opposed grapple checks please. Bryon, you no longer have to worry about slipping for the moment and should Prizzard join them the same goes for him. Of course that will change if you need to dodge more acid in the future. By the way, I don't remember if I told you his AC but it's 21 so now you know if you hit. Next round please!

A noise of disgust escapes her lips as the tentacle squeezes around her leg. “Not today,” Tamzy mutters and with a twist she easily removes herself from the creatures grasp.

Prizzard needed to get close, and this time managed to approach the creature, delivering a charge of his spell easily.

Raknesh knows his situation in quite bad. He usually prefers the safety of long range combat, but there is no other way at the moment.

So he trust his training and his reflexes to avoid the most lethal blows while he fires arrow after arrow.

Tanzy easily evades the cleaner, try as he might. Meanwhile Raknesh and Prizzard are both making good headway damaging the thing, who looks most displeased.

Unfortunately for Perkins, as he moves to make another attack he is grasped by a nearby tentacle and thrown to the ground. He thrashes and snarls in his griffin form, thoroughly freaking out. It got in my mouth! It got in my mouth!! he shrieks. You're quite certain he's being slowly crushed by the thing but even now he's far more concerned with the disgusting gore.

At this point the cleaner's focus shifts to Prizzard and Raknesh, seeing them as the biggest threats and he raises a single tentacle back and then flings fist sized sharp  barbs straight at the both of you...

ooc: Reflex save, -5 to it. DC is 20. If you succeed you take no damage. Otherwise you take 33. Next round please! :)

Managing to stumble out of the way, Prizzard found time and balance to deliver his spell twice more. (Assuming touch AC is significantly lower)

“Perkins change back into a frog!”  Tanzy shouts hoping a smaller form will help her friend escape his predicament. Still in a flanking position she attacks the thing again.

You're all picking away at him nicely. He's bleeding heavily, which only mixes in with the rest of the gore of the place so at times it's hard to gauge his damage but it becomes increasingly apparent that he can't take much more like this luckily. Perkins does listen to Tanzy's advice and with a shriek of disgust he turns back into a frog, slipping into the muck and hopping out of reach before turning back into a griffin again. He shudders and shakes. I. Hate. This. Place.

Just as he's done talking unfortunately, the cleaner rears up on its back tentacles and a great purple cloud of something is released from the ends of his tentacles, filling the room. You feel agonized, the pain is incredible and it's all you can do not to fall down to the floor....

ooc: Ok, roll constitution checks. DC 18. If you succeed you take 15 damage and don't fall prone. If you fail you take 29 damage and fall prone for one round. Next round please!

Prizzard held a handful of his own hair, pulling on it to keep focus. Oppurtunities to simply lay a finger on the creature were few between its movement, the footing, and the purple gas, but another two cracks of thunder could be heard in quick succession as the spell landed.

The fog hurt when she inhaled it, so much that she lost her grip on the wall and fell ass over tea kettle to the hard stone floor. There is a sickening thud and crunch as she hit, she is bleeding and unresponsive.

Whatever that thing just launched at them it was the most horrible thing he had ever breathed.
But apparently Raknesh's body had gotten used to vile things since they arrived in this dreaded land, and it didn't hurt as much as he expected.

13:30, Today: Raknesh Kaltash rolled 21 using 1d20+6.  fort save.

He noticed Bryon's fall, hoping she was not dead. He had the healing berries ready, but they had to take care of the monster first or they would all be sitting ducks.

So he launched another volley of arrow.

Meanwhile, some decent damage is being done to the cleaner and he's starting to second guess himself. Across the room there is an entrance to another tunnel and he starts to slide towards it, bleeding heavily. Clearly he's trying to escape. Meanwhile though, he releases another fog, this one black, and it's difficult to see...

“He’s making a break for it!” Tanzy points out the obvious as the room darkens. Despite not being able to see she slashes at the monsters last known location. It wasn’t much of an attack but she’s satisfied to hit the thing even if it’s a weak blow.

Once again, Raknesh feels the absence of Rocky as the tiny rock could guide him in total darkness.

But they could not let that thing escape.

So he fired his arrows, hoping at least some would it. And the illumination from the fire and the holy light might help the others to pinpoint the huge creature.

Prizzard snaps his fingers as he speaks an arcane syllable. The snap discharges one blast of his Storm Touch spell before the casting dismisses it, giving away his position to his allies. Then, flying above the much for a moment, he follows the glow from Rakneshs arrows. He flies carefully, feeling for the walls and ceiling, then casts another spell to fill the retreat path with fire.
