Raknesh stops Prizzard and takes an handfull of berries from his pouch.

"Not before you take those.  You are our frontline and we need you it as good shape as possible."

OOC:Raknesh still has 15 berries, 1D10/berry.
But he completely failed his knowledge(the planes) check ^^

Already planning to stop with Raknesh, it took little effort to slow him. Prizzards lightning paws would destroy the berries on contact, so he instead hunched and allowed them to be tossed into his bear maw, likely sporting bits of mummy cloth and dust. "For this final encounter I will be quite limited, but I think you will have the edge against demons. Hopefully I can keep them too busy to engage the rest of you."

Already rolled and applied 5 berries, but total dosage is up to Raknesh. Prizzard is not greedy about healing, often taking less than he should until more is offered, and would be quite understanding if Raknesh held onto most of them for the likely case of an ensuing emergency.

I'll go with you. Emric is by Prizzard's side. He's come in quite useful during the fray, turning many an enemy to stone with a touch. Ezran stays nearby, ready to bring up the rear. I can try to support you from afar but I'm saving as much of my abilities as I can for healing. Something tells me we'll need it. she sighs.

The motherwitch is still in the hallway, finishing off the soldiers along with the other fighters. It looks like things have turned your way there at least.

ooc: Ok, I'm going to give Tanzy a chance to come up with a plan before you go barging in there because it makes sense she'd at least try to suggest something (providing the player decides that's what she'd do). If Prizzard decides to ignore it that's fine of course, and she has no idea what she's actually dealing with. But a 12 foot tall demon with a spiky flaming whip and the king of death himself is a pretty good indicator that things should be handled with care.

Start thinking of your tactics if/when you do attack though, since I'm sure something is going to happen soon. If you do come up with a plan you can make your rolls accordingly, no need to wait on my say so. I'll try to check in on things to keep it all moving. Hopefully this all makes sense.

"Death is likely more dangerous than the demon. I feel we should hit as hard and fast as possible, freeing Raina as soon as convenient, and assume that escaping is quite unlikely."

"Take a few more berries in that case" begins Raknesh.

I can also fire one single arrow that would to straight to it's target, phasing through anything not magic, if it can be of some use. As a distraction, maybe, or anything else if you have an idea."

“Everyone just be careful please. I might be able to free Raina if we can keep that red demon busy. Has anyone seen the old witch? We’ll need her to deal with her son.”

Bryon will move to a position in the furthest top corner of the room. From there she will be able to take siping shots as whichever come into her range.

As you all ready to go inside (save Tanzy of course who is already there) the motherwitch arrives, covered in blood that is clearly not her own. Trailing her is Emeric and of course Ezran is already there too. She gives Prizzard a hard, unreadable look, as though studying him for some reason.

Leave Damek to me. The rest of you get Raina and get out. He is never without protection and weak things that you are, you'll probably be killed if you try to take them. Whatever you do, stay out of my way. I can't be worried about accidentally killing you while I'm teaching my son a lesson.

With that she enters the room first and everything immediately goes to hell.

The darkly dressed man at his throne stands up in surprise. Mother! She ignores his words, immediately throwing a fireball the size of a house at the man. And thus their fight begins. For the rest of you though, you have your own worries as the demon Tanzy described very much sees you. Raina, looking weak and battered, looks up from her chains in shock. The demon's whip comes out, cracking eagerly, bits of flame falling off it constantly. Yes. This is bad.

ooc: Ok, I just got things started since it seemed like it was time. If you had any last second preparations you may go ahead and let me know. Otherwise, start your attacks! This is going to be harder than usual so don't be surprised if you actually miss from time to time...

It was too bad Raknesh couldn't alter his mindblade on such short notice, but he fired his arrows as quickly as he could.

With the others engaged Tanzy moves to Raina’s side and gives the woman a quick hug before trying to free her. “I wish I had my regular tools,” She mutters as she concentrates on the restraints.

OOC: not sure what we’re dealing with so I did open lock and disable device and got 17 for each

As Prizzard rushes and stumbles towards the demon, the fiery whip gives a piercing crack as it shoots out and wraps around Prizzard's leg. He starts to pull you in towards him but somehow, miraculously, you're able to free your leg before he drags you across the room. You feel the sears of the flames against your flesh though, and you realize just how close you came to something very bad...

Then, seeing the rest of you, the demon gives a chilling smile, looking right at the invisible Bryon as though seeing through her very soul. Clearly your invisibility is not working. Meanwhile only two of Raknesh's arrows find their target, and though he definitely notices, he is nowhere close to being downed by them.

Raina is relieved to see Tanzy and the others but frantic at the same time. Take care! Balor is beyond strong! Don't risk your lives for me! As she talks you try to free her but the bonds are well made. You feel like you could figure out the mechanism, given a little more time though...

Perkins takes the opportunity to shield Tanzy as best he can, turning into a griffin and blocking her from future harm while Emric runs up to help Prizzard, throwing a knife at the demon that hits in his arm and then bursts into ice of all things. Infuriated, Balor stands tall and says something in a guttural voice you don't understand. Everyone in the room starts to feel...odd. Your minds feel foggy and fuddled...

ooc: Ok, his AC is 25, so keep that in mind. Also, I'll need a will save from everyone, dc 20, otherwise you get confused. You'll need to follow the instructions below in the link regarding rolling a percentage roll each round to see what happens to you. It's in the link, so let me know if you have questions. I'll only have the confusion last 3 rounds at most should you happen to lose, so that's something right? Right? ;P Also, I'm very rushed and distracted. My husband keeps talking to me while I'm trying to write this for one (rolls eyes), so if I missed something I apologize!

Bryon realized her invisibility wasn’t working so she dropped it. She put one hand on Tanzie and one on Raina, ”We’re going for a ride, please don’t resist.”

Using Flees the Scene to take the both of them as far from the whip wielding demon as possible, leaving being an illusion of herself.

After the trials they endured, such a feeble attempt has no chance to affect Raknesh now.

Prizzard's attacks are somewhat effective, and you can tell your storm touch does hurt him, but not nearly so much as it should, nor does it prevent him from casting his spell, which thankfully, most of you are able to shake off.

Meanwhile Raknesh only has a single arrow hit, to your dismay, and Tanzy's dagger throw, though accurate, is wildly ineffective. He actually looks amused if anything. By now Bryon has made her move and transports Tanzy and herself out of the room, though her attempt to free Raina is unsuccessful. The chains keeping her pinned in the center of the room do not allow the spell to work on her and should you continue to flee the scene, she will be left behind, though an image of Bryon will remain in place for the time being.

During all this, Emeric and Perkins continue to help as best they can, while Ezran babbles incoherently in the corner of the room. Emeric gives the demon another ice blast and you notice he's using an amulet to do so. Meanwhile Perkins tries to rake his griffin claws across the demon but misses. In response, Balor targets Prizzard, who he sees as the most immediate threat, and with his flaming longsword, slashes him three times, actually missing on his fourth attempt to your surprise...

ooc: Ok, Bryon, you and Tanzy will find yourselves in the hallway again. Tanzy, don't forget you have 3 more rounds of crazyness so go ahead and roll again to see what behaviors you do. Everyone else, roll your next attack please. As always, I am trying to get out the door while I write this so if I missed something let me know!

OOC:I cannot do anything this round, as per the rules for Dimension Door, which Flee the scene is based on.

"The chains! If nothing else, we can outrun it with her and the chair." Prizzard makes a small position adjustment to better block Rainas direction. The attacks continue, unerring and vicious, but the demon is tough. "You want a better challenge, demon? Give me your name!"

Raknesh felt both surprise and worry when the pair disapeared, leaving Raina still enchained.

As Prizzard endured the assault on the demon, he decided to get closer to offer more target and lessen the burden on their main fighter.
