Raknesh can communicate with Rocky all the time as long as they are no more than 1 mile away from each other.

Ok! I'd say you've only been separated about an hour at most, so if people decide to reach out to Raknesh via the mind link, they're certainly welcome but of course that's only IF you decide to!

I'd say you're definitely needed in the hallway still, since more zombies are coming. Now that the others are here, you can try an area attack on the oncoming zombies because your friends should be out of the way, but only if you so desire!

Sorry for the lack of posting today. I had it all planned but my cat is having mild medical drama and it just sucked me soul out. In the last 2 months we've spent over $2000 on this fool, lol. She's so high maintenance! Posting is on my to do list tomorrow, though!

Sorry for the delayed posting! Half of my team at work quit so I’ve been working lots of OT and dying in my free time! How is the kitty doing Artemis?

That sucks! The kitty is doing better! She has a dental vet consult on Tuesday that I am dreading, but at least she's acting normal again.

I'm hoping to try putting my house on the market again this weekend so I'm scrambling to prep all this week. I should be able to resume normal posting next week, however.

I should be good to post monday! I'll be moving the fight along so if you haven't had a chance to post, I'll just NPC your character if need be or skim over whatever just to keep the flow going. Thanks for your patience with me, I'm hoping to have a small period of normalcy in the near future!

So here's the dealio:

We've been working on selling our house and buying a new one for months now. It's been a nightmare. We finally closed on selling our house last week and we had our dream home lined up to close on the 25th of this month. It was a gorgeous cabin in the woods with 2 acres, a creek, trees trees and more trees, everything we've been dreaming of and it was HARD to find it. It took so much bartering and haggling and work but we had a deal and we were set to have it finalized and be our forever home.

Cue last week. On my birthday, actually. Yay.

We found out there is a boundary dispute that they didn't tell us about. They played it off as nothing at first and we warily asked for more information. They admitted that they're actually being sued by their neighbor because she wants the boundaries redrawn and thinks she's owed more land even though there is no earthly justification for this. She refuses to even pay for the land she wants. She just expects it for free. So needless to say, it's a giant mess. We met with the sellers and the neighbor to try to work things out but the neighbor is stubborn and there's something majorly off about her. So we are withdrawing and now don't have anywhere to live. We have to be out of our current house in 2 weeks so we're scrambling to find a rental and everything is a giant mess. I've honestly never been more stressed in my entire life.

So, needless to say, my posting shall be sporadic. I'm sure by mid August things will settle down. They kind of have to! And I'll still try to post here as much as I can, but I'm giving you a heads up on my flakiness now so you don't think I've forgotten you guys!

We fought a lich-who was Tanzy's almost step dad who had her father killed years ago. Turns out her brother (who also died) was brought back as an undead person by the lich and now that the lich has died he's also dying, completely unaware that he's not in fact the real brother at all, but just an undead replica. So it's rather sad!

Also, haven't forgotten you guys. Just waiting on a post or so and I'll move things along. We're probably gonna wrap up this chapter soon so I'd love to know what your plans are after this family saga ends. I assume it's back to finding the temples? If your characters have plans to pursue anything in the meantime, let me know so you don't miss your opportunities!

It seems like busyness is going around these days. I'm in no rush at all, we've been at this for over a decade, after all! So if you would like, we can always pause the game for a month or two, til people's schedules get better? It's a busy time of year and maybe picking up in the summer would be more convenient? Whatever people want, I'm down with. I'm quite flexible!
