Well, the old one is really big and I'm finally getting off my bum and making a second thread like I was supposed to eons ago. So here it is!

So, some planning questions for you all too. I run another game that is 7 years old and I'm finally going to wind that thing down and end it for good sometime this year. It had reached its course and the players are ready for some conclusions to hard fought story lines.

My question is, where do we stand on THIS game? I don't want you to feel like you have to play til we're 80 just to be polite to ME. If people are tiring and want to think about winding things down here in the future, whether that be one year or more, I'm open to whatever makes my players happy. You guys have been awesome to have hung around and I can't tell you how much it means to me!

Also, some of you may have different opinions about this. If someone ever wants a foreseeable end, I can make that happen whenever they're ready. If others, however, want to keep going, I can make that happen too. Everyone is different and I can accommodate a variety of needs. So please, think about your long term goals and let me know what you think would be best for YOU. You can pm me if you're not comfortable addressing it here.

That said, I have not run out of plans or ideas so I can keep going as long as you like me to. Like, years and years probably, hahahahahaha! Seriously. But, if you decide that a conclusion in the future is what you all want, I promise I won't be offended by that either. I'm very laid back in regard to all this.

Lastly, you should be aware that if everything goes the way I hope to and doesn't fall through, I will be going back to college again in about a month. I'm going to be craaaaaaazy busy, but I will still make time for you guys. If my posts are less than glorious or have to drop down to once a week, I hope you understand. I'll try my hardest though! You guys deserve that much!

I don't like not knowing the end of a book I started reading ^^

I know we hardly know each other and it’s just a game but I’m pretty sure there will be an empty spot in my heart when we eventually end. That said I’m happy to keep playing for as long as everyone else and the GM allows. And who knows maybe when we do inevitably end we can talk her into starting another one?!

How about we just go til it reaches its natural end then? We can re-evaluate then. Honestly, that will still take years at the rate I post, lol. I think you have 2 or 3 temples done and you still have a few to go, plus more story arch stuff on top of that. So estimating everything I'd guess....maybe 4-6 more years til this thing plays out the way I planned? Barring unforeseen detours. The Tanzy dying thing took us a year off course, believe it or not. But I actually really loved it! It ended up being some of my favorite stuff. So this could really stretch a while.

But when it does finally end, we have the option of moving on to other adventures with the same characters or we can rest and start up a new game, we definitely have options and I adore you guys so I'm happy to play with you til the end of time. You are stellar players and so loyal. I can't believe how lucky I am to have such dedicated people to play with. Thank you!

Now, I'm probably going to have to post a bit later this afternoon. I've got to get ready to do crap and I ran out of time but you can expect a post from me soon.

I feel like we'll hit 20 years before it's done, and by then I have a feeling our characters will have had enough adventure for one lifetime unless something world-threatening happens again.

What I'm moat surprised about is that we haven't had any non-scripted character losses with how many close calls there have been.

When do we level up?

Yeah, definitely surprised about that. Though Tanzy dying was certainly not planned, lol. So I guess that counts?

And Bryon, we'll level up after this encounter. I think it's time :)

Eh, I thought it was an impromptu decision, still not a bad dice roll. It was meant to be a wholly non-lethal subjugation of the siren, and I didn't know the potency of the powder. That was easily the most shocking thing I've had happen in a game and top 3 for character trauma. Yikes! I have to admit it was an excellent twist and turned into a genius move with all we had to go though on that 'side quest'.

Is target near a wall?

Lol! I'm so happy to have traumatized you Prizzard! Mwahahahahahaha! It was probably my favorite moment of the entire game so far. So it's funny how unplanned things can turn out to be even better sometimes!

Also, sorry Bryon, I forgot something I needed to post. If and when he goes back to his spot though, he will be about 5 feet from a wall behind him. So if Prizzard gets through with him and he sits back down, that is where he'll be.

Just giving everyone else a chance to post intentions, but I'll move things along tomorrow or Friday one way or the other.

Also, it looks like I'm officially starting college again on March 1st, barring anything catastrophic. The college I'm doing is online, and you pay per semester, not credit. So, I'm going to be stupid and try to cram my bachelor's degree within 6 months...I already have my associate's but that's still 29 classes to complete by then. Yikes. It can be done, others have done it, and I'm going to give it my very best. So, consequently, I'm only going to be posting on my games once a week instead of 2. It won't be that much different, but I wanted to give you a head's up! :D

I'm probably going to start this once a week thing now, since I only have a few weeks to get my crap together. We're also going to try to move this year if we can at all find a house worth moving into. Inventory here is historically low, so it's stressful. I think this will be the year I have my first panic attack! So I apologize in advance if on occasion I have to flake. I'm hoping to be done within my timeline, but I won't beat myself up too much if it takes longer. Wish me luck....

After all he only knows you managed to 'extract' the target and she might cause some trouble for you.

So character-wise and story wise,it still fits.

He is good at hiding and thinks he can pull it off as he searched for an escape route before.

Sigh. I've been doing a lot of digital art lately via mouse and I think mine is starting to tank. I nearly lost my whole post I did because it's on the fritz. So if I missed something or forgot something or the map isn't perfect, I apologize. I just had a mini heart attack because it posted it before I had a chance to look over it but I was 90 percent sure it had just deleted it and now I need to go lay down for half an hour and rethink my life choices because I'm pretty sure my life flashed before my eyes.

Lol I use my phone to post because I’m too lazy to boot up the laptop. Sometimes if I swipe wrong the whole page just vanishes. That alone is devastating! I can’t imagine loosing a post as big as you do! :O

I've become pretty used to doing this on my phone. The laptop is still easier of course, but I do most of my posting at work.
