This is a classic D&D game, you can be any race or class. However, if you are a non human you will be a minority. Basically this is a mostly human place with alternate races being from outskirt lands of Thear. It is not uncommon to see other races in Thear but humans still are the majority on this continent anyway. Pick an empire to be from anyway, because you will get certain benefits from whatever one you're raised in. Also, pick a god or goddess to worship, unless your character isn't the pious type of course.
