Standard Cheer Uniform (Team colors)

Second Possibility

Special Event Uniform

Halloween events uniforms only...girls will have a number of one of the players on the team...such as celeste would wear the QBs or Adams number.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

After having went over a few routine ideas with the girls, and warm ups.  Celeste went into the cafeteria and waited in line.  She turned and looked about to see if she could catch Lu-Ti, so they could discuss the ideas she had tossed out before and during the warm up drills.

Finally through the line with her food, she found a table and began going through the various things articulately deciding what to keep, put away for now, and what to think about putting away for good.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Celeste felt Lu-Ti approach and managed to look up long enough to see her feet stand by her before she spoke.

Everything, she said.  Wondering how I'll manage, but knowing there's no way out.  Not that I'd really want an out, but still.  A bit to take in so quickly.  I'll make it, no doubt.

She flopped the current cheer outfits book into Lu-Ti's hands.  We are on a real team now, she said.  We need some kick ass outfits.  The ones we have, leave me with a bitter taste in my mouth.  It's like I'm back in high school.  She tossed another thicker catalog at her.

The ones highlighted are the ones I think we need to reconsider getting, she said.  We've got a game coming up...soon.  I want us to have one of these a couple of days before in case we need to be fitted and things changed.

Lu-ti grabs the books  and begins leafing through them, after  a few minutes ( and a few mouthfuls  of food) she says,These  are nice..the ones  picked out..but...Look...all everyonme hears  about is the Cowgirls..same little  comeboy outfits..everybody fusses over, because the Media helps them... I watched the Flight crew  for the Jets? they have  some great  outfits..but..they are...you know...'safe'?...Denver's  grils are just a copy of Dallas...Sandiego's girls  aren't bad..but there is no Media effect?

She leans over and says,we need to be daring...something that Sells  US...but also the Team...lets face it..if the  Cowboys weren't playing in the superbowl all those years, the Cowgirls  would be an after thought...I think we have  to Lure  people in..Men, women, geeks, jocks..everybody...not just reley on our name?  You know?

I also think we  should challenge the  Other  teams cheerleaders to  a flagfootball tornment..I bet ESPN would pick it up, if  we do it  in the off season..and we could have a couple players coach!...I know  one i would ask!!  she giggles.

I think that would definitely catch some peoples attention, she said pointing to it.  I'd love to schedule a match against the other girls.  But who you'd have coaching us, would be?

She looked at Lu-Ti cocking up her eyebrow.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Celeste patted Lu-Ti on the shoulder.

Thatta girl, she said laughing.  Of course, unlike that girl, we'll still were cheer panties.    It will get the much needed attention that we'll need for the first game.  Also much publicity at how racy it is.  If it is too contradictory, we can modify the first outfit I chose.  Though I don't think many of the girls will mind showing off a lil something.

Let's proceed with the email and proposition, I'll get our girl and have these ordered and sized pronto, she added.

Standing up, she picked up everything.  Before leaving she turned to Lu-ti.  I think I'll make sure to save Adam's number and jersey just for you.  Me on the other hand, I've no clue.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

With idea's fresh in her mind, Celeste returns back to the cheer area from the sidelines making a few mental notes on the approach of the next cheer.

Let's make these Redskins start shaking their tomahawks, she said to Lu-Ti.  Pinning the fact that the first team was out on the field while the other team kept bringing in more players, she kept insults to a minimum but enough to peak the rivalry in the opposing team.

She looked to Lu-Ti.  Whatcha plan on doing with that ball? she asked.  The other girls were looking at Lu-Ti and giggling.  I think you might want to go out shopping for something nice in the coming days, especially if we win this evening.

Keeping the other girls on their toes and in form, Celeste returned to formation often looking at Lu-Ti and her reaction.

Who knows? she said randomly and shrugged.  If you want to roam through my closet you are welcome to.

She gave Lu-Ti that type of look that she knew what type of clothing she had in her closet.

LaTasha and Celeste looked between each other giggling.  Though Celeste was serious about getting Lu-Ti and Adam out on a date.  Knowing Adam like she did, he needed a break from the books.

With that in mind, with the next down it was Lucas who had made the touch down in the end zone.  The girls began spelling out the players name and matching letters of his name with the win.

After taking a quick breather and splash of water upon her face, Celeste came back out ready to lead the girls after a rough finish to the first quarter.  Aggravated about as much as some of the players with the plays that the defense had brought forth letting the redskins get TDs much less yardage.

Working on a few different cheers to help get the offense team back in action, Celeste looked over at the sidelines and then to the field to see where everyone was placed and who was or wasn't on the field.

When Adam injured someone, she simply shook her head.  Lu-Ti, he's already sending in the medics, she said laughing.

Each big Play the  Dragons made..brought new home..new joy to the fans..not just in these stands..but int he over flow in the  BAseball and soccor stadiums, and those at home watching on TV. All across the nation, in the  national televised game...people were going to learn about the Dragons.

every big play  by the redskins, made  the Dragon fans get that tightness in thier belly..as if..any moment..the Dragons  would fail...and thier hopes dashed...

Celeste could only guess what it felt like to the fans of the former team, the Jags.   She could feel the exuberation from the fans of the new team, the Dragons.  Wanting to show the welcoming to the fans, that she felt when she came here and becoming the lead cheer girl.  She turned the kindness that she received back onto the fans, either loyal ones to the Jags or new ones to the Dragons.

She began to impromptu a cheer at the top of her lungs, poms in hands.

We were the Jags
Proud and Esteemed
Now heres the Dragons
Determined and Proud...

We are the Dragons

No, today was not a day of fun, in Celeste's definition but work.  Dressed up in black slacks, a nice blue button up blouse and heels she made her way to work with the PR rep for the Dragons to make requests and work on ones already submitted.

However, she may stop by to check out the guys on the field and see how things were going.  She did like to watch them play to get cues on what to cheer for.  Actually watching the game and learning their moves behind the scene helped a lot.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Celeste looked up casually at Lu-Ti as if nothing had went on, well nothing serious or naughty that is.  She shrugged as she made her way out of the complex and towards the bus that was waiting for the two girls.

Eh, I was tired, ready to go home, she said blandly.  Adding to what Lu-Ti asked about getting Adam on the floor as if she was going over a cheer routine.  I think I had too many.  He took me back home.  As for him on the dance floor, remember I knew him a few years ago.  I just kinda have that knack to pull even the less sociable person out on a floor.  With Adam, you simply make him do it.  Don't ask, just do.  If he allows himself to sit in the shadows, he'll basically run over different runs, routes, maneuvers; that's not what he needs.  Or wants really, is a bizarre way, even he needs a break from all the football stuff.  You just have to figure out how.

She wasn't struggling, but it was on the harder side of easy to keep the smile down.  As long as she kept thinking it was business, it was easier to keep the excited feelings she had at bay.

So any future dates with Mr. Hope? she said hoping to change the subject.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

In reply to Lu-Ti (msg #53):

Celeste remained quiet for what seemed like an eternity having heard what Lu-Ti had said.  Also knowing what Adam had said about her.  She really didn't know how to say what she already know.  So, instead, she pulled up a picture of their picture she had taken and he had signed that was posted in her locker.  Yes, she had taken a picture of a picture.  Giddy, definitely.

Handing the phone to Lu-Ti, she thought words may be better to inform her friend than simply saying.

What if I said we already were? she said in a low tone as to not let the other girls onto the news.

Celeste left it at that awaiting her response.

Celeste took back the phone as everyone was getting up.  She slipped it into the pocket of her blazer.  She shook her head briefly and shrugged with the clipboard in her hand.

I don't know if you would say it was magic or not, she said plainly.  Though I feel to be the lucky one, though I think its him that feels lucky.

She blushed ever so slightly at the comment of her picture.

Yes it is, she said.  If you notice in the corner where he signed it for me.  I did the same and signed one for him too.  Check out his locker some time.

He is definitely a unique person to be around, especially off the field, out of the complex, campus even.  As for romantic, from what I've seen maybe, she said.  All kidding aside, how about you and Mr Hope.  I couldn't tell who was having more fun the other night, you or him.

She shook her head at the bus driver as she exited the bus and made her greetings and shook hands with the hospital staff and others awaiting their arrival outside.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Hmm, she said to Lu-Ti before the Charge Head Staff came to her asking her what she would like for the girls to do.

Yes, Thank you for having us as well Ms Mones.  I figure it will be whatever is easiest on you as well, she said.  We have to take them into affect as well.

She looked to the girls and motioned them to enjoy themselves with food, drink, and mingling with the ones out here before they headed inside.

Well, Lu-Ti and myself had concurred together after we gained leadership with the squad to do something for the community more than just winning games and cheer competitions.  It wasn't so long ago that either of us were in the stands or on the sidelines rooting for our favorite team.  We know what we wanted and expect to return the favor.

Taking a water, she paused for a moment and greeted herself with some of the children that were out here and other staff members.  Making a few autographs and pictures with them.

I would think we would be wise to split the girls up into about 2-3 parties, unless someone asks for them specifically.  Then when we've finished that, then we can go to the auditorium and perform.  ANything else that I've not covered we can make up for afterwards.

Not only us as cheerleaders are thankful for this opportunity, but many of the football players are as well, to the Amotas for all they've provided for us.

With all the pictures having been taken, Celeste looked to the Coordinator of this event and took a sigh for the next.  This always pulled at strings that she didn't like.  Not that she didn't like doing this, but it was very hard on her.

Let's head upstairs and see the kids, she said calm cool and collect as if nothing was wrong.  That's what we are here for.

She gave a bright smile though a lot of pain settled into her heart quickly.  She'd probably end up tackling a few of the equipment when she got back from holding back a lot of emotion.

Time is of no concern for us, she said.  We are here for them.  I can't say the same for most of them.

Celeste looked at the girls splitting them in half and motioning to one half to go into the elevator with Lu-Ti.  The other half with her into the first elevator.  She gave Lu-Ti a small handheld walkie-talkie so that way if one of the patients wanted to see a certain girl on one side or the other, they could swap up.  Each girl took one hallway and made their way to the first room and set of patients.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

If  the Dragonettes expected to have  happy folks seeing them...they would have been quite, right...however...none of them  could have expected  what was to come, unless..they had  done something like this before.

Perhaps, growing up, they stopped  at places during the holidays, or watched the  Pregame, or halftime pieces of the  College Allstar games , where the squads  would visit the  Shriner's Hospital.

But this  was Jacksonville..New...Jacksonville....a Top that rose  from  its ashes...just as its fans, hoped its  football team would.

when they exited the  BAnk of elevators...there they were,  a handful of the "walking wounded" those who could  walk..or at least, sit in a wheel chair..thier  little eyes growing wide at the sight of the women they had just seen on TV during the game..beauties..with poise..and  smiles...it was hard to tell which kids liked them more...The Boys..who are..boys..and enjoy the sight  of  good loooking ladies  , in the colors  of thier football team...or..the gilrs..who looked at these ladies...perhaps..harboring  a wish, that they might  oneday wear the uniform , such as they do!

To the  Girls surprise..the Kids and thier Nurses shouted DRAGONETTES!...DRONGONETTES!..THERE AREN'T NONE BETTER..YES! YOU BET!

the nurse in charge of the floor  Greeted  Celeste,he eyes  a bit moist,they...wantyed to cheer for yoou..they said...you have to do all the cheering..it might be nice..for  someone to cheer you...

The Door to the Elevators  Opened  and Mrs  Amota stepped off, she smiled at the  group, and waved some men in...they each carried 5 boxes, she smiled  at Celsete,Please..I am so sorry..we did not have these on the bus for you...it was pointed out to us..by a member of the team..so we rushed these over...

the Boxes  contained Dragon Tee-shirts..not  cheap giveawy jobs, but the kind they sold at the stadium..Green  with white lettering  and  with the Dragon Stomp Dragom wrapped  around  the waist..the shoulders  said   DRAGONS...the  Fron said , in smaller letters..Jacksonville. Mrs  Amota  bowed  slightly to Celeste, If it pleases you? I would stay..and  watch?

Celeste looked up as the group cheered them on a bright smile crossing her face.  The sound of the elevator did have her turning instinctively to see Mrs Amota come with boxes of shirts in their hand.  She strode towards her and put and arm around the older lady.

Yes, of course, come with us.  Celeste motioned for her girls to grab shirts and with a black sharpie she handed the pent and a shirt to the girls for them to sign the shirts.

Saying to the girls in the room with her.  Lets all sign these for the kids as we pass them out.  She began signing the first shirt.  You too Mrs Amota.

the  Kids ranged in effect from total Awe...to very very bashful....but the BAshful kids lit up like   the stadium, when one of the  Dragonettes   would  give them a hug, or sign a cast, or get thier pciture  with them.

Celeste and the girls made their rounds with not only the patients but also the nurses and attending hospital staff.  By the end of the visit, Celeste would need to take her hands on a spa retreat.  Either that or have Adam baby her for an evening.  Paybacks were wonderful if used effectively.

Celeste had gathered back with the girls who were cheerful, yet hesitant to leave, at least most of them.  Celeste found the Head Staff Lead to send her condolences and thanks.

Thank you for having us, she commented.  We like to make ourselves a part of the community, not just a pretty face that you see on TV.

Once everyone had said their good byes, Celeste boarded the bus along with the other girls and flopped into the seat she and Lu-Ti shared upon arriving.  She pulled out her phone while everyone was distracted and took a look at her new photo she had taken.  She planned on taking plenty more.  She'd have to show Adam the ones that she took today so he could see.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Alright, thanks, she said quickly.  Attempting to sound like it was a professional call.  I will let the girls know in case they want to meet up and help out.  Maybe.

In a lower tone, she smirked at the idea that she may be spending the evening alone but glad that Adam got to do something special aside from what she was able to do.

Maybe leave me the keys, she asked.

When the call ended, she turned to Lu-Ti.  Some of the guys have promotional spots to go to.  Sounds like the PR staff have got them busy today.  So one of two things, we can go back to our places and hang out oor we can go and cheer on our guys.

Celeste wiggled her eyebrows.

Ladies, the guys have been given assignments to do.  If you want to go and help them, just visit the PR staff about the different places they'll be going.  Maybe we can offer them some pep help.  If not, you have the rest of the afternoon off.  Tomorrow about 9 am we'll be working our butts off on cheers having our uniforms sized and confirming who'll be cheering and who'll be spectating.  Have a good day ladies!

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Upon arriving at the stadium in the morning, Celeste dressed quite a bit more conservatively.  After the debunkle during the game, she figured it would be best to show a better more proper side of her.

When her and Lu-Ti approached, Alexia went over the lay out of appearances and also commenting upon "her girls".  Celeste simply shook her head and ignored the comment.

Eh, she said to Lu-Ti.  Let her think it.  Doesn't means she's right.  She's the one who left, not us.  We are the Amotas' girls not hers, technically speaking.

Looking in the mirror at her tailored dress shirt and pen stripe knee length skirt and flats, she could care less what she wasn't showing.  Alexia was showing enough for both of them.  She had brought a little something extra, just in case someone wanted to be a know-it-all.

Celeste picked up the phone promptly while they waited in the green room to be called out on stage.

Hey Beth, glad to have you aboard.  Won't need much of anything major, whatever you get aas a sign on will well make up for whatever you'll be missing when you get here.  I've got a condo suite and suitemate already lined up for you.  Can't wait to have you hear.  I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures of you during training and games that you can send back to friends and family.  See you when you get here.
She gave her all the details and forwarded her the flight tickets and code to board the plane.  As soon as she hung up, they were called to head to the stage.  Walking down the corridor they bumped into Flint who congradulated them.

Thanks, she said politely.  I'll have to take you up on that.  Especially if I'll be making many trips for promo spots for the Dragons and the squad.

She proceeded on into the room and with the ball from Adam neatly held in a clutch with one arm.  She shook hands with everyone with the free hand.

Never, she commented about the Dragon Stomp.  We eat, sleep, breath and sometimes even our hearts beat the stomp.  That my friend...is a true Dragonette.

She then took a seat in the first available spot with Lu-Ti next to her and her game ball in her lap.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Celeste idly shook her head and then produced her phone with a personal picture of her and Adam from the Dragon's Lair club that she took.

No no...she said and then showed it to Rowdy and finally Alexia.  It's not a PR stunt.  I've known Adam for quite some time actually.  We just recently made ourselves an item.  Regardless of height, he's the best guy any girl could ask for.  I'm not tall myself, unless I'm wearing heels and even then its not a factor between either of us.  We met while he was still playing for Hamilton, it was my final year in high school and I went to a cheer camp at the same place he was for football.  I guess you could say, we crushed on each other from that point onward.  Just never had the guts to ask the other one out.

This ball, she said and holds it up.  Among many more pictures are sure to be added to the collection among other things as we progress in our relationship.  Besides, wasn't it you and James that were the "thing" back when you were a Dragonette?

Celeste tilted her head anticipating the answer to her question.  I guess its just an irony that the Dragonettes Head Cheerleaders have a thing with one of the best players on the team.  Though my feelings have stretched back farther than that for the fan favorite wide receiver.

All jests aside, I agree with Lu-Ti, she said moving onward.  Lu-Ti and I have both made several plans for promos, local and nationwide attendances to spread the word of the newest NFL team to hit the bock.  We may be the newest kid on the block, but we plan on showing up with a bang, or would that be a Dragon Stomp?

That is my...our Adam, she stated.  Adam strives to help those that are willing and wanting help at any cost.  He's always been like that.  Why make it yourself when you are part of the team.  In Adam's eyes, he's not the team, he's only a part of the team.  Why not make the whole team strong, instead of just one?  It'll greatly affect playtime as well as impact the fans by building the esteem within to show on the outside.

She gave Rowdy a headshake.  Thank you for the offer.  I don't think I could be any happier than I am at this moment in my life.  I've got the best job any one could wish for.  The best guy any one could dream of.

She looks at ALexia.  I'm not certain what story there is to tell.  If you aren't playing like you want to be part of the team, the Amotas adamantly tell you then pack your bags.  They aren't going to pay if you aren't willing to play, or cheer for that fact.  Duke has great potential as well as a great arm.  Adam, can throw and has been known to be a wonderful stand-in or Wildcat as they are called when the needs arise.  Though he prefers to run and catch than to be on the throwing side of the offensive line.  Either way, I think we find the strong points and work to strengthen the weak ones, we'll be one of the top five teams in the NFL in the years to come.

Back to Rowdy, she gave a come hither motion.  Bring on the Raiders, I'm sure it'll be a good game to anticipate, watch, and even cheer for.  Though I'll side with my Dragons.  If we win, maybe I could send you a Dragons shirt that you could sport on your next show.  If you win, I'll do likewise

now?  Darren wa out here before..and he's  a really big Jacksonville fan...he even helped  promote the building of the new stadium... she turns to the camaras and the  folks in the chairs,..Three fileds..the stadium for the drahgons...a huge  soccor  stadium and a  baseball filed..all which are opened to the  public  for a few dollars if they cannot get into the   stadium, they still get to see the Big screens at those  fields...something the Cowboys should  have thought of...I see the Amota's  making alot of  money here....

ahhh...looks like the Raiders  don't play the Dragons  this  year..unless its in the playoffs!

She smiles  and stands,That's all we have time  for today... tomorrow  we will be back in LA where our  Guests will be Two of the Oakland Cheerleaders..and Rowdy will be there as well..and a surpsie  guest from the New Movie that  Darren  Flint stars in" Beyond  2012"....Take care!

some people appraoch   to get autographs  from those   at the stage... fianlly all  calms down and Alexia stands on the field   her   arms crossed  under her breasts  as she shakes her head, You and Adam....I really never saw that coming....I'm goign to try to come back here a few more times throught he season..maybe   i can get you both to come on?..In  your  Locker   rooms i have  agift for you and all the girls..not  anything big, just to show  i still think of them......she gives  each girl a hug and moves   off  with her  people...in the locker room, beside  every dragonette's  locker  is  a  ( 100.00) collection of  makeup and goodies  from  Alexia's  sponser.

Celeste smiles as the show ends and shakes hands with the ones on the stage and thanks them for their time.

Guess we'll be seeing you in the playoffs then, she said to Rowdy before heading backstage.  Upon bumping into Alexia, she stops briefly before heading to her locker to check on things.

Thank you, she said, regardless of whether it was an intended compliment.  It's really been a long time coming.  You are welcome any time, Alexia.  Have a safe flight.

Celeste gave a brief hug and moved towards her locker to see the goodie bags setup.  She shook her head and once out of range from the Alexia crowd and ears.  Sheesh!  What a mess.

You did great Lu-Ti, she said.  I'm sure that Adam will want to see this too.  She double checked her phone for recordings times to make sure that it was set.  Wonder how things are going for them?  Honestly, I'm glad that is over.

She gave her friend a hug.  I think I'll be heading homeward to rest before I do anything else today.  Cross your fingers our boys return safely.  Its too quiet around here, dontcha think?

With that, she took liberties to head home and check back with Lu-Ti around 2 or three to see when the cuts were being made.  Around noon, she'd check in with Kimmie to see what else needed to be done in her condo to accommodate the new arrival.

When break time had ended, she arrived back where she had expected the girls to return to.  Once everyone had returned she wanted to make an announcement.

Alright ladies, she said firmly with her arms on her hips.  Now, don't think that I'm going to play Mother Hen to everyone, though I am making an exception this once.  Since some of us are actually courting with some of the players and team members, that we do not need to mix business with pleasure.  Now during this past game, not only have I seen some of the players mock us but also point fingers at us and laugh.

I know we are all adults here and probably think that this is something our mother's would say to us, but honestly, I just don't want to see any of you hurt.  So, to avoid any future taunts lets try to avoid the "bad buys" as best as possible, she said finally.  I'm not trying to tell you who to date or not date, I'm just giving a nice reminder.  Let's wrap this day up and head to the weightroom.  Beth, I'll be spotting you and vice versa.  We'll be starting out slow to get you use to it.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Yes, I agree, she said to the girl who motioned about petiteness and laughs.  Though some I'm sure are not that small.  We can at least help deflate their egos.  One has already been dismissed from the team.  That's one down.

She stopped for a moment. We are Dragon Ladies; we stand against adversity and fight for what is right.  We do not allow ourselves to stoop to their level regardless of being on the same team.  If its another team, we'll let the boys handle that by winning.

If it is so out of control of ourselves that the owners and head staffing need to know and step in, then we need to re-evaluate ourselves.  We have the opportunity and greatness to get us far, but if we degrade ourselves by letting the situation get above us then we are no better than the normal cheerleaders.

I'm not saying for us to stop dating the players or other team members, she said.  That would go for me as well.  Don't think that I haven't thought about how I would handle myself if my relationship ended, this is still my job, my life.  I'm not going to let that affect me or my job.  That is why I'm saying we need to be careful of who we do see and realize their...maturity level before getting serious or even going as far as a date.  As for the major player behind all this...I've got his calling card.  You let me handle him.

Celeste turned her head when Lu-ti approached.  Yes it is, she said.  She tossed down a very chicken scratched notepad and words, but then something big circled of a final draft for a cheer.

Was watching ESPN today and one of the talk show hosts saying he sees us beating the Cowboys by 10, she said and pointed to one of the cheers.  I figure we could do cheer, pyramid style for this one.

The others, thought I'd get your input on, she said.  I was restless this morning and got busy on some new cheers.

She took a sip of her warm drink as she contemplated what she'd come up with and pondered Lu-Ti's response.  She'd messaged or called all the girls to come have breakfast here first before they started their work outs.  It was going to be a long day with weightroom training, swimming laps for endurance, and then cheer routines and learning the new cheers and coming up with the moves for those.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Celeste thought for a moment.  On second thought, how about a dedication party to the players that are still on the team.  Maybe hang up their jerseys and have leis to hand out to them?

She kinda shrugged and looked to Lu-Ti as it might be an idea.  I'm sure we have enough dragonettes to players if not, I'm sure some of the girls won't mind to double up.

Saddly? My Husband  did not playb football..it was frowned upon here when he was young..he was a trackstar  as Yuto was, and he loved  baseball..he played  for the  Sato Swordfish for 5 years, before   a ball hit him in the ehad as he was sliding into second base.... he missed the rest of the season and never went back....but..he has become a large figure in sports in Japan...He started the Industrial League..and the Amota Tigers are always in the playoffs..we have only won, one championship...that ws when Yuto and Adam were there..With Coach Sims....he help start soccor and baseball leagues  of that sort as well..and many of the larger  companies  began to do that as well...it has been a good thing for the youth of Japan.

she was  silent  for a second and added, I would not mind being with the girls , if you would have me?...perhaps... Yuto's Mellon State..or his  Amota Tiger Fersey could be hung...and  many  a jersey that just has my husband's Name on?..would suffice?

Celeste shook her head.  If you have any of his old game uniform or equipment, bring it.  We'll work on getting him his own Dragons football jersey.  I'll make that my own priority.  Bring Mr Amotas and Yutos, she said.  We'll work with the rest.  I'll find a local business that deals in lei's and will arrange something with them for tonight.  Yes, you'll be my second-second in command tonight Mrs Amota.  Might want to see if any of our cheer outfits fit you.  We are all going Dragon Green tonight!

Let's meet at the club about two hours, I'll call Harry and get all the uniforms of the guys.  I'll talk to the club manager and have some of the waitresses and hostesses help us out.  Sound like a plan?

He could get the equipment man to  make a Dragon's  Jersey for each?...do you think that might be better...then he could send someone with them over to the Club...should not be hard..if  we need a jersey..we should be able to get one from our own team!...what do you think of that?

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Very good Mrs Amota, she said.  See you later.

She ended the call and shook her head.  Only you would think like that, Lu-Ti.

She laughed along with her as she motioned for all the girls to get up and head towards the weight room.

As they made their way, she did a search on her phone for a local party place or floral shop that would be able to accomodate their needs.  She also found Harry on their way through the complex and she stopped to see if he'd mind gathering the jerseys for display at the Dragons club.

She then made one more call as they stood outside the weightroom and spoke with the manager, who was working on the event this evening and was more than ready and willing to help the cheerleaders decorate the place with jerseys and a "lei" theme.

Celeste looked to Lu-Ti and sighed.  I think that was more work than this will be.  Let's go ladies.

-->> from the dragon comples

Eve breathed a sigh of relief grateful things had gone so well with Celsest. She took the opportunity to wander about the stadium to familiarise herself with it. The honeycomb of passages and tunnels would take some time to get use to. Thankfully there were an occasional sign to point the way out, or to a specific location. Eventually she located the Dragonetts locker room, which was adjacent to their rehearsal and training room.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Upon arriving in the dragonettes cheer-room, it didn't vary much from the guys locker room other than the fact it had a few touches of the female side of things.  Passing through was a room not much different than a ballet room, it had one wall size mirror and several different tumble matts neatly tucked away in the corner.  A hamper stood nearby with practice poms in it.  This room was actually a bit taller than the locker room.  Enough that you could do a four person pyramid, if desired.  Or toss a person and barely brush the ceiling.  All the colors of the dragon team decked the lockers, walls, of the cheer locker room.  Though in the rehearsal room, it was a very soft pastel egg yolk yellow.  Like a very bright sunrise peeking in through the window.

Eve nodded approvingly at the use of both space and subtle colour scheme. She wondered how the cheerleaders would react to her appointment. Crossing to the pompoms she lifted two testing their weight and balance; satisfied they were good quality, she returned them to the hamper. Crossing to a seat she opened her hand helt for a short time tapping away at its keys and manipulating some designs.

Ms C came up with this as a starting point for uniforms, as mentioned was thinking of Metalic base costume with matching gloves and high boots.

I'm doing alright, she said.  Ready for a busy day?

She was about to head out towards the practice field to watch the guys for a bit, but stopped in  mid motion when Nillie came in apologizing for the impromptu signing and visit to the hospital.

Since not many of the girls had arrived yet, she'd start calling around to let them know that practice was cancelled and it would be casual game apparell day.

No problem, Mrs Amota.  We'll get right on it, she said.  Will you be joining us this time?  Eve, this would also be a good time to join us to see some of our charity work in action.

Celeste had let Adam head to his complex for the night knowing he'd probably be getting up sooner than her.  Then again when she woke up at 5 am, she sent him a message telling him good morning and best of luck, see you at the game.

Celeste promptly woke up herself, showered, dressed, and began fixing her hair but not before she woke up her own roommate for the day.

Celeste messaged Lu-Ti first to see if she wanted to meet at the complex before the public came in and have something to eat.  When she got a response, she then promptly messaged Eve to see what her plans were and if she'd like to join them either to cheer or to stand by and watch and learn.

The taylor shop was in downtown New Jacksonville and had many of the designer outfits that the dragons and other professional leagues attire adorning the front of the shop.  Lu-Ti motioned for Eve to follow her as she held the door open for the other girls.

I think you will find this place quite interesting, she said.  Let's find our suitor so that we can get the ball rolling.

She looked around and asked for their regular guy to aid in the design and fitting for the outfit that Eve had come up with.  Lu-Ti even took the image that Eve had taken and sent to Celeste and showed it to the tailor.

Lu-ti turned and looked to Eve at her question.  Yes, they do all the fittings for out uniforms and gear, she said.  Some of the girls even come here for their formal attire fittings and designs.

She gave Eve a bright smile.  As Eve would look around, on the left side of the wall would be a raised table with different fashion designer and do-it-yourself books, magazines, and catalogs.  There was even a pattern wheel with different items available for purchasing.

Along the right side of the wall and nearly covering the entire back wall, was shelves upon shelves from ceiling to flooring of various fabrics, buttons, threads, etc.  In the middle of the back wall was a 3/4ths mirror and raised flooring for one person to stand on and get sized, measured, and re-pinned.

One of the other girls saw that Lu-Ti was busy and took initiative to go first.

Sorry for the delay, I was...detained for a moment, she stuttered out.  Her glasses remaining over her eyes as she approached where the girls had gathered.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

The tune from her mobile pierced the silence notifying her of the incoming message. Flipping it open she scanned the message from Celeste. Rising she finished dressing, glanced around the locker room flicked off the light switch and headed along the corridor to the car park. Passing the night watch station she informed Jarrod Meacham and Mark Waverly ooc please excuse the creative licence that she was the last from the Dragonettes area whished them a pleasant night then headed to her Chevy.
As she strolled towards the carpark, there was a sudden rush of movement and she felt strong two arm slip around her one covering her mouth the second around her waist. The speed surprise and shock prevented her from responding quickly enough to this.

The sharp whistle blow roused Eve from her momentary shock. Grasping the arm around her waist she dug her nails into the persons forearm applying as much pressure as she could. The hand came away from her mouth only to deliver a blow to her head. A stab of light flashed before her as she crumpled forward pulling her assailant off balance, and they both fell to the ground.

Next day....

Celeste had partaken it upon herself to go to her place to stay the night before.  She knew they were going to have a busy week and had already informed the girls to meet in the locker room early this morning dressed business casual.  Some of the girls were going to go to the hospital for the post game visit with gifts and about three of the girls were going to going to be on a radio talk show and would need to head to the station.

Celeste was the first one in the dragonette's locker room but had gotten a message from Lu-Ti that she was on her way.

Celeste had sat down on the couch near the entrance as she sent Adam a message that it was going to be a busy day on the girls side.  Not only was she going to the radio station, but she was also going to talk to the Sims about the after season girls football league and along with Sims and a couple of the other coaches, was going to be in a conference meeting with the other coaches of the league that wanted to participate.

We'll be in a radio station, she commented.  It won't be televised, but it will be heard.  All we have to do is bring our peppy voices.

She paused to let that sink in for a moment.  Besides, you have plenty of time.  We don't have to be there until 930, airtime is 1015 for a mid-morning sports talk show.  I'm just hear early to help gather the girls and get the rest of them shuttled to the hospital for the post game meet and greet.

Celeste shrugged.  It can vary from station to station, she said.  Some want to focus in on us and our part in the team.  Others want to know about our volunteer and charity events, and possibly even about our rumored female football summer league.

She put the phone down into her lap and looked between Sasha and Eve.

Then, there are the dog DJs, she said.  That want to know the personal stuff about us.  Those, we just sit, swallow, and try to focus on our jobs as Dragonnettes and avoid the questions as much as possible.

When they finally came into the broadcast room, she looked at Monty and shook her head.  Now that she saw him, she could only dream what he was up to this time.

She let Eve and Sasha enter before her and take in the massive effect of stage shock since this was their few times.

When he'd commented on Adam and his response, she chuckled and finally came into the room.

Well, Adam does have a wonderful way with words, she said and took a seat across from him.  She motioned for the girls to do the same.  I can only imagine what you have in store with us, Monty.

She adjusted herself in her seat, pressing out with her hands her dress pants and crossing her legs.

Being the least senior member of the squad present, Sasha kept her mouth shut as she followed the others.  The most she did was offer friendly, and sometimes slightly flirtatious, smiles to those they passed.  Her eyes widened slightly as they were introduced to Monty Axe and he told them about the plan.  She had just thought they were going to be talking to a local station, not be broadcast around the nation.  For the first time since being told to come along by Celeste, Sasha felt nervous about the interview.

She took a seat next to Celeste as instructed, smiling at the description of Adam.  Only then did she speak up, "I'm sure we'll all have fun."  In the back of her mind she wondered about this surprise.  Considering the pranks and contests some radio jockeys do, she was slightly worried.

Eve glanced about the room noting the presence of Television Cameras, this brooded ill as did the approach of the Radio announcer Mr A Monty; he was the type her Papa often cautioned her sisters and herself about. Slipping into a chair alongside Sasha, Eve ensured her feet and knees were together, positioning as her Matter had instructed them from an early age being slightly angled to one side. Resting her hands together on her lap, the thumb of one hand pressing hard on the palm of the hand underneath which helped to alleviate her misgivings about the situation.

Celeste watched Monty as he explained what they would be doing and going about the show.  She clipped her mic on and helped the other two if needed.

She gave a nod that she was ready and let Monty announce them.

Good morning, Monty, Celeste added.  I am Celeste de Luca of the Dragonnette's cheer league, the Head Cheerleader.  With me today, I have Sasha Black and Eve Ultracurvaceous, Sasha is one of my cheerleaders and Eve is our Routine Co-ordinator.  I would have to say what sets us apart is our volunteer work that is utmost important to all of us girls.  We go to the children's wing at the local hospital nearly weekly to visit them.  Lu-Ti, my co-Captain, is actually there right now with the other girls.

We've been in talks with the other franchises and the cheerleaders when the post season began to have a summer fundraiser and league established for the girls.  A series of football games to help raise money for each of the franchises selected charities.  The winner of the game will have their own "Super Bowl" trophy and a portion of all sales will go towards that franchise's charity.

Lu-Ti and the girls had finally arrived at the hospital and brought up boxes of their most recent shirts and novelty items.  She'd stopped at the nurse's station to announce their arrival.

The sounds of the children hearing the girls chattering amoung themselves, and the children getting excited, brought a smile to Lu-Ti's face.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

It will be a set of games that we and the other cheerleaders will host during the spring and summer.  At this time, a couple of the teams have selected Flag option, but we have a couple that are game for full contact.  I am personally working with the other Head cheerleaders who've agreed with this to make all the games full contact.  We'll have padding and uniforms just like the guys do.

Since there are not as many cheerleaders as their are football players, the count on the field should be something like 5 or 6.  That accounts for a team of offense and defense teams.

The games will be held here or at the Stadium of that group's choice.

She'd looked from Eve to Sasha when Monty asked their thoughts and shook her head at his comment of not being football players.  She gave a chuckle.

Monty, what does a football player look like? she asked tilting her head to the side.  Are they all suppose to look like Marino, Roethlesberger, maybe even Givens or Sims?

She paused and gave a devilish chuckle.  We've got some of the best guys in the NFL, and they don't fit your "criteria" for a typical player.  Some are taller, some are smaller.  Bronk isn't much taller than me, he may have more muscle than me, but he can put a defensive player out of a game in a heartbeat if he gets in his way of a throw.  Then again, I may be impartial.

She keeps smiling.  Besides, you don't look like a typical Radio man, your not Howard Stern-ish, she licked her lips and her smile arched to one side as her eyes twinkled at her comeback.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Celeste had to chuckle at his comment of still being attractive.  Though this would not be a new "league" of female players, we are doing this as a not-for-profit charity benefit, she added.  Regardless, we are cheerleaders, but we like to do things for the less fortunate.  Why not make use of the attributes and abilities that we do have and apply it towards something that is more rewarding?

Celeste paused as he spoke about other charities.

The Dragonnettes biggest one to date is our work on the childrens floor of the local hospital.  We also do various other local benefits, but the hospital is our biggest even thus far.

Celeste paused at that and let the other two girls explain how they became a Dragonnette.  She wanted the other girls to feel just as special for being a Dragonnette as she was.

This is our job, said Celeste.  There's nothing else I'd rather be doing than this.

She crosses her leg and shifts in her seat.  The Amotas take the Dragonettes and this position on the team as seriously as he does the players on the field.  You don't come in our Stadium or complex as if it were a day in the playground.  This is our livelihoods and our passions.

Do you consider this your hobby? she asked in return.  Or do you eat, sleep, and breathe everything you do here.

She looked around at the cast and crew of the station to see not only his reaction but theirs to his position or their own.

What our salary cap or commission is, would be in the hands and minds of our bosses, she commented.  That remains on the Amota's table, not for us to entail.  We are proud of our jobs, position within the league, and other cheerleader standings.  For that, we get paid for the job that we do, much like any one who has a job in the here and now.  We enjoy it well enough to do it time and again with a brazen smile on our faces.

Celeste tilted her head at Monty's question, her brow furrowed not only in confusion but if her assumptions were right, aggravation.

Stunt? she said vexed.  Please, do explain your wording, Monty.

If it was what she'd thought, her gaze lingered to Eve to hint off that it was the fresh idea of mocking the other cheer teams routine.

In reply to Celeste (msg # 313):

Eve acknowledged Celestes unspoken comments.
Mr Monty do you think the only contest taking place in a football stadium during a game is limited to the field. For shame if you do. For as long as there have been Cheerleaders involved in the sport, they have strove to support the Teams they work with. Rousing steadfast and loyal fans, providing encouragement during lulls and motivating each in support of the Teams heightened plays.
This support may not be as central as the match but it is every bit as exacting and in reality often more so than that taking place on the field. Cheerleaders to a great extent are continually at work through most of the game; added to this is the unspoken contest they have with their opposites. If you presume initiating a new outlook in this contest is a stunt, I suggest changing your hairpiece is more suited to that classification.

Now that everyone had returned from the hospital or the radio talk show, everyone was in the dressing room either to go back to the dorms or to go work out.  Some to meet up with the other's as they head out to go do their own thing.

Lu-Ti was waiting for Celeste and the others to come back to discuss the results of the talk show.  They'd left the hospital early as one of the children had gotten sick and hospital staff didn't want to risk the health of the others.

Having waited what seemed like eternity, Lu-Ti had dozed off on one of the leather couches, her Dragon jacket spread across her.

Celeste entered the lockeroom and put her hands on her hips as she notices Lu-Ti asleep.

She walked closer and rested against the wall closest to her.

Celeste just as weathered and weary after the interview they just had, much like Eve, found a seat and flopped into it.

Sorry girls, she said.  Yeah we'll be there.  Today has been more than crazy and if you see or hear the interview, you'll see why.

She looked to Eve and Sasha.  Looks like we've got some prettying up to do.

She pulls out her phone and gives Adam a small, headachey reminder and piece of her mind.

Why no message about the party at the rising son?  Did you send me one and I didn't see it?  Ugh...I hate Monty!!!

Oh, but of course, Mr Amota.  It won't be just a couple of us, she said with a bright smile.  We'll be there momentarily.

She ended the call, looked to Lu-Ti and Eve and gave a wicked grin.  Looks like we've got a crowd to dispurse, Dragonnette style.

She just loved how other people tried to put their players on the spot.

With the girls ready, they made their way to the tunnel and when the time came, they went out cheering and rooting on for the players.

As soon as everyone was out, a tight spot it may have been, but the Dragonnettes made the most of their place on the field.  They stretched as the players did the coin toss and the kick off was done.

For some time now Eve felt that Celeste had been preoccupied and had been leaving the running, training and management of the Dragonetts in her care, not that she minded the additional responsibilities. Her previous associations and rolls were more than sufficient for the task, it was just Celeste and Lu-Ti were no longer interested in the Cheerleaders. Approaching both Eve hoped to discuss this with them and perhaps rouse them.

Celeste had been zoned out and focused on such a wide variety of things over such an expanded amount of time that when Eve walked in she gave the other girl a "deer in headlights" type of look.

It took her several minutes to chain any reasonable sense of a human reaction.

Sorry, she said remorsefully if anything had been said as ever entered because she simply hadn't heard her.  What can I do for you?

She could probably say that to Adam right now as well.  She just realized how neglectful she's been of everyone with the look on Eve's face and in her eyes.

Celeste chuckled at being told to go rest and interference would be called for.

Sounds good, she said.  Though I still have a lot of things I need to go over.

She taps the desk and looks from everything that has been laid on her plate from arranging individual to group appearances, to radio and tv spots, and in the mix of it all, practicing.  She'd nearly given up any working out or practicing, that unfortunately, had been handed down to Eve.

The girls knew how hard it was for the Head cheerleader to step in and be in charge and cheer, the last one was now a model and radio personality at times.  Unlike her, Celeste was up for the challenge, though she was sorely missing her favorite wildcat and doing something she liked, cheering.

I suppose some of this could be on hold until after this game.  It's not like we are suppose to stop cheering for any of it.  That's how we got where we are.  Guess I need to find #19 and see what he's doing before they call for lights out?

In a completely other part of the stadium, Celeste was in a dragonnette shirt, black shorts, and sneakers.
Lu-ti was dressed in cheer uniform and near the front stretching.
Celeste took Eve's advice and today especially was going to take it like easy.  She would watch the field and move through the motions to start the next cheer but was letting lu-ti take the reigns.
She looked around for eve to see if they needed to cover anything extra before heading out to the field before the players.  She'd often check her watch to keep track of time so they wouldn't be behind.

Celeste gave her a bright smile and thumbs up in reply.  She looked back onto the field and examined with binoculars what was going on.  She'd bought a pair not too long ago without thinking about some good uses for it.  Having pulled them out of her closet, she realized that now, they were in good use.

She tapped the button in her ear for Lu-Ti and Eve to hear.

Looks like the boys are ready, the Dragons are getting to kick off.  They are getting the ball first.  Let's do cheer defense.

Lu-Ti had replied back with a click of the earpiece and began the cheer.

She headed to the large room with a ballet bar and glass wall and put the disc in the drive.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

Cel had gotten the tape ready and the lights on for CJ when she came around the corner.  She found the video that Eve had choreographed and recorded of herself of all their dance move over the past couple of months and games.  She put it on the try out cheer and had pressed paused.

When CJ came in she gave a nod, whether she was in cheer uniform or not, practice was practice.  Looks good for cheer practice gear.  You'll be fitted and suited for the real thing once all this is done.  That's just to give you a bit of feel for the texture and tightness of what we will be wearing.

She nodded behind her at the large screen TV just slightly above head level and a spot on the glass where CJ could watch the video and then practice herself.

She's all yours.  I'll stand back and watch and let you know where you need to adjust or modify to what fits you but still within routine.

Re: Dragonette's  Thread

She took a long deep breath and sat down on the floor before starting to watch the moves. She focused more on where to put her arms and legs trying to memorize the moves and the sequences. Cel could see a different look on Chloe as she watched those videos, she was concentrating more, taking things seriously a complete contrast from the cheerful self she showed a bit before. Once the clip ended without taking her eyes from it she said "Again please", once it started she finished up memorizing everything about the moves and finally the position of her face and what to look for.

Standing up she smiled her old usual self back and grinned, "No problem at all, the cheer seems to be like all the ones I seen on videos just a couple of different moves which gives it a bit of flavor". She giggled and began stretching her arms and legs not wanting to pull anything and then looked back at the woman as she began to slowly imitate the things she seen on the video with a mistake here and there which she quickly fixed and tried again.

You are correct.  There's a lot more depth to our dances.  You'll see once you're on the field.  When the crowd is out there hollering and whooping you can barely hear yourself think.  You have to nearly know these dances by heart.

Are you ready for the final test?
