  Ben's   magic  caused a lot of folks  to   jump  and then laugh... clapping each time.

 Lofton Nodded, the party was  over the top now.. full fledged   party time... the wishing well  only had a few folks  pop over now and then, as Most  who were around   made thier  donation. He  and His  wife     left to check out the  food table.

 Mr and Mrs  Amota  circulated, now and the introducing  a player  to   an investor... sometimes just stopping to  just chat with a Player or Dragonette.

  Bing was laughing with Mr  Amota   and Yuto came  over     and they laughed  more.

 Lana  said into the Mic...Ok folks?  we're  supposed to be done here?

 the  fans    moaned , but Lana  held up her hand.Easy Dragon  fans!... As I was about to say... I worked out a deal with My  Band here.. and they all agreed, that if I won't let them Donate thier  cuts to the  Hospital, we can at elast  stay until the end of the party!

 The  crowed  went nuts...

 ..so?.. eddie is setting up a couple  tracks, while we take a Break.. then  we'll be back to party   for the next 2 hours!

 The Musics  that came through were slow dances.  .. and Mr  and Mrs  Amota  went on the floor   along with Sims  and His wife...Payne was  dragged out buy his  way...shorter.. wife as well.

 Lana   Put her  arm through Adams  as they went to teh table..   Band fans     ran over to intercept   the members  asking for    Selfies and such.

   a few    investors  approached her  and Adam, Lana    smiled  an wave to teh Wishing Well  and they followed  as she talked them  out of some Money    wit smiles and Selfies  as well.

   Lana   waved to Ben,..so?  'Thunder ' ?     what can you tell me  about your Roomie   'lighting' here.. is  he  Player off the field?.. Girl's  gotta know these things..right?

 Adam chuckled   as he greeted  another  Investor that was asking him about  endorsing running shoes...

"Sure, I don't mind," she replied. "Though I didn't bring any signing materials with me. If you have a good pen for it and something to sign, I can do that. Or I'd be happy to take a picture with her and give you an address to mail it to so I can sign it," Emma replied to the man. It would give her a unique picture to have signed while still being technically within the rules.

"Thank you, Commissioner, and it's good to meet you. I'll certainly let you know if there's something I need league assistance with. I expected there to be a bit of an adjustment period, but I think people are starting to figure things out." Emma expected the press to be on better behavior after last week. Most of the players, at least after the game, were respectful.

She took a drink of her water. "I've enjoyed it and I think I'm starting to get my feet under me, so to speak. It's been quite the change. We've only played road games since I joined, so I'm looking forward to playing in front of the home crowd for the first time this week." It'd be nice to play in a stadium that didn't empty out by halftime.

She laughed a little at Banna's comment. "Well, it's certainly not the worst thing in the world. They adapted well to a woman in their ranks. Certainly more quickly than my high school or college teams. Though we'll see how much my performance up there adds to the ribbing I'll get at practice tomorrow." She smiled at the woman as she spoke.

"Are the two of you enjoying yourselves? I imagine this is probably a bit different type of a fundraiser than you usually attend. But I hope it's a nice change of pace." One of the things the Commissioner might notice is that the woman didn't have a lot of difficulties transitioning between formal and casual conversation.

Ben smiled at Lana.

"A gentleman never tells... but I believe he might be available if you are interested. Great music, by the way."

Ben didn't like to admit that he actually had never consciously heard any of her work before, but he had quite liked it despite not really liking that style... he wasn't much of a music fan, and listened to classical on the odd occasions he listened to anything at all.

  lana  grinned, available  Huh?.....that's  nice to hear... I can't wait to see how the date turns out.. I sorta  painted him into a corner.. but..hey.. a Gal has to do ,what a Gal has to do..

  Adam  took  a card from the Guy.   Lana  had  a  soda  and  was  Nibbling on some grapes...so?  I guess i don't have to Introduce you two...

 He Moved    off to  dance  with a   dark skinned  Italian  woman who was  dressed  with the   bare shoulders and  feet of a    Gypsy  her  dark hair    flings about    to the Music.

   Eddie  and the  Keyboard   chick  were gettign some  eats  and drinks..  the  other Gutar guy was  talkign to a  Dragonette  amd the Drummer was sitting  down hetting soem   small cakes  and a  cup of  coffee. they all seemed to be havign as good  a time  as the   peopel tehre.

 Bana     smiled  a   knowing smile  and  watched  some of the players o =on the floor, or walkign around. Spencer  was dressed as  Tarzan, he was talking to the 'giant' Halfling Kane.

 Ivory Nodded,its been said before? This..is not a normal  fund raiser.. even for a Halloween party... Tha Singer.. she    pumped up the crowd.... not sure    if her  and bronk planned things out.. but.. there is alot of  people who have..  how  do they say it...

 Banna looked Up  from sipping her drink through the tiny straw,..Hit on her... put the Moves on.. dove in for the Kill....

 She Looked up with her eyes  and   Emma,..mosh rushed the  stage in Houston. tried to get her  to    go on a date.. and sing a set with her.. she had  security remove Him... Ivory had to  have a settlement  between Mosh and the texans,   with  Lana  and the  Reavers..Big  settlement... didn';t make the Texans too happy..Mosh was goign to try and sue... but the league  talked hiom out of it...a countersuit  would have destroyed him.

  Ivory cleared his throat and tried to smile  as he says,..My wife  serves  as  my traveling secretary.. so.. she knows a good  bit..except  how  , not  to   speak of some things?

 ..any way...  Your  team seems   tight knit.. that's a good thing..I hope it stays that way... And remember if you need    any thing, call ,  either through your  chain of command.. or   straight to league HQ...

"This isn't something Adam would have planned. I'm not one to gossip about my teammates, but I'd assume it's genuine unless proven otherwise. We'll find out soon enough, either way though." Either it'd be a thing that lingered or it'd go away fairly quickly, one or the other. Emma had been a little tied up during the party to grill Adam about it.

The woman just nodded about Mosh, giving Banna a knowing look in return. She was quite sure the other woman knew how Mosh had hit on her. Emma didn't need to comment on it to make her feelings known. "Of course. Let me know if there's anything I can do for the league as well," Emma replied as she gave him a polite nod of her head before moving off. The statement he made was one that clearly was a dismissal, albeit a polite one.

She then made her way over towards the bouncy house to interact with the children so they'd get to meet a real live football player.

 When se  walked towards them, at first she was  Just 'another Mommy dressed up like the Big Girls"

  But    The fellow   followed  her Over  and  waved to  a  small Balck Widow   who coem runnign Over,..hey Honey?.  You know who this is?

 WONDER WOMAN!

 he laughed... Look at her  face....

 she put her tiny hands in front of her  face......EMMIE!!!!!  EMMIE!! The Dragon!

 she released her self  from her  Dad  and  ran and  Hugged   Emma's leg. The  Father  smiled  a  pleases   smile  and Held Up his Phone    so Emma would see it  and Took a  Pick of her holding Onto Emma...

 she  held her  arms  up for Emma to pick her up.

Ben took the card.

"Thank you... I'll see if Lu-Ti is free. I hope she is, I've wanted to eat at your restaurant for a while but never managed to get a reservation!"

He started looking around for Lu-Ti.

 Lu-Ti hand  just  finished talkigfn to a  woman  dressed..as of all things.. a  Kabuki dancer...

  the  woman made her  way to teh Wishing Well.

  .I am  to wonder... as she looked at Ben,..if  i was to walk up to a  read Elf  Warrior woman,, what she would think, of my costume...

Emma smiled at the girl and reached down to pick her up, setting the girl on her shoulder. She kept a steadying hand lightly pressed against the girl's back. "Good to meet you, Lissa," she said. "I think your daddy wants to take a picture, right? Say cheese." Emma flexed her free arm for the photo. "You having fun tonight?" she asked the girl.

 The  Guy  Took  the Picture   and  then another  to make sure.

  She  was  smiling   her legs  curled  up with a cute little smile,..yeah....

  her eyes  were large    he little smile big as she  turned to  look at  Emma...They  said  Daddy  could  bring me today... he said. maybe I could  meet Emmie  the Dragon!

 The   Guy smiled meekly,..she has had a couple good  day, so they saif  i could bring her..she's..been so excited all day...

"Well, it's good to meet you Lissa," the woman said, making sure she had a solid hold on the girl. Kids liked being high up, but they also had this little tendency to forget about things like gravity. "You get to watch the games?" she asked.

A nod was given to the father, but most of Emma's concentration was on the kid at the moment. It was really for the kids that they were there tonight.

  Lissa   looked   around sorta  curled in  ball on  Emma's  arm,  her hands    cupped in fron to her  tummy,..Yeah....  Me and Daddy..  and  we  watch at Home alot.... some time   Uncle  Mike comes over too...

 The  Man  smiles  his eyes  a bit  damp,..Tell her   who you like to   watch?

Emma grinned at that, even as she got her head wrapped up in little kid arms. "Really? Well, would you like me to see if some of them could come over and say hello?" She was sure some of the names the girl picked up from her father, but they were some of the standout players too.

 The Father looked  ,..You think they would Bother.. I mean..

  Lissa  Giggled  wildly...YEAH!!!!!!  See  all the  Dragons..See All EMMIE's Dragons!!

Emma would normally pull her phone out, but given her height and that she was in the same general area as the others, she just scanned the crowd and gestured to Adam, Duke, Bing, and Ben, doing her best to make eye contact to indicate she wanted them to come over. The little girl on her shoulder should be enough to clue them in as to the general reason. It was a little old-fashioned, but it meant there wasn't a bunch of extra texting in the party.

"Won't know unless I ask, right?" Emma replied to Lissa's father. She glanced at the girl. "Well, they're not my dragons. We're a team of dragons, and you're part of it now, right?"

 Adam  was Talking  to   a woman  and   saw the little girl on Emma's  shoulders    as  Lana and the Band  started  to sing again... he excused himself     and made his way  over..

 Bing would have  come anyway, but   seeing that  Emma  had a 'friend ' he made his  way over too

 Duke  gave his  wife   his  Drink and Followed them  Over...

 while they waited  for   Ben ,the  Father    stood there  with  eyes Glistening,,  He had   hsi Phone  taking a Pic  of the Dragons  and His daughter.

 ..Hey!..Lissa !    remember me

  she curled up in  a ball again, and said  shyly,..you are .... BOMB!  Hands  and   legs shot out  again.

 yeah.. couple months ago  we were  at the hospital , Dragonettes   do most of the visiting, but we go down on Monday  when we can.. ...

 ..Adam  Broke the Nurses  Desk... she giggled.


 The Guy looked at Adam, um...yeah..  me and an older kid threw  a ball  and it  went high and   when I   jumped to catch it.. i sorta..fell on  the Nurses station..

 ..nurse  Velma  had  Frowny face...

 ..Yes she did....

Emma laughed. "Why am I not that surprised you did a bit of property damage," Emma commented. "But yeah, I was visiting with Lissa and she said you were some of her favorite players to watch, so I thought it'd be nice for her to get a chance to meet you. Though I didn't know you already knew Bomb," Emma said, adding that last bit to Lissa.

  Lissa  looked around,..we like him.. he's  little ..like us...

 Bing and  Duke  burst out  Laughing,.. Adam  had a looks of  Chagrin.....yeah...  Ok?...  I"m Gonna  ask You daddy Something, be right back..

   Mr  Wilkes   stepped up, he was kinda of teary.. his    shirt was sorts  ..hanging on him as he tried to talk... he struggle through. and wiped  his eyes  a few times,  He  Looked   around.. Lissa  looked   around  curled up on Emma's  arm  her little eyes   wandering about ,  now and then she would Notcie    who a dragon was  and  wave.. and the big tough  football player  would finger wave back.


 My.. Um.. My daughter.. um  was Diagnosed    about.. a year ago.. it was... um..  to be sure.. the toughest time..of out lives.. My....um...wife left.. she said.. she couldn't..'do ' this...she  has  sicne  remarried..lives..in texas somewhere... never..asks.. about Lissa.. Ilost Mu job, ebcuse of  missing time for  treatmants and such.... he shook    as he tried  not to cry. He Pointed to mr    and Mrs Amota..... but the Amotas.. they   got her in to Amota Med.. childrens... he nodded his head,..they  gave me a Job...  in  the  Computer  factory.. i...i.never have to worry about missing aan appoint ment, or treatment  again.. and ..Lissa's  Bill are  now beign paid through  the Wishing  Well   program...   she.. Um    he licked his Lips as he loked up the happy little Girl.

  Adam  stood there and   people were laughing, the players were  Cracking  up..Danny was   smiling  a big smile.

 Adam. smiled,..They have  Been through a hell of a lot... But thigns  should be better  now... its its good for people to see that..

Ben grinned at Lu-Ti.

"What are you doing Thursday night. Fancy dinner out?" and he showed her the card.

Then he saw Emma with a small child waving him over.

"Excuse me... or, better, come along... I think we have to meet someone."

Ben led the way over to Emma, and smiled at the youngster in her arms.

"Who's this? And... what's this?"

He produced a silver dollar from the little girl's ear, and handed it to her. Then he shook hands with the child's father.

He tagged along when Lissa and her dad were called up onto the stage, staying at one side out of the way.

   Duke  Looked  at  Ben   after the Gazebo  and   chuckled, ..That thing  with the  Silver Dollar... can you do that with a Football... that  would be great.. might never  throw  an INT  again!

 Bing  went  down to the Bouncy House  with Emma, Lissa and Her  Dad.

 Yuto    was smiling , he looked at the others,...many More people  went over to the Well...  We also have ..big plan now  for Sunday.. You all see.. it will be big fun!

  Adam  patted    Ben on the Back,..pretty neat stuff...

 Lana  smiles  as she looks at the pair of them..... so?.. how did you know that would work out?

 Adam  Said, ..because  I am .... and he threw his arms and  Legs out  like Lissa   did....BOMB...

 Lana  smiled,see you in a Bit... she went back to the  Gazebo to    pick up singing  with the bad again.

"A football is a bit large to palm, even if you have hands as big as mine," grinned Ben to Duke.

He was still smiling as Adam patted him on the back then did his 'bomb' impersonation.

"This guy has an explosive personality!"

As Lana went back up to sing, he turned to Lu-Ti.

"Would you like to dance some more, or shall we find some food?"

Emma nodded to Lissa. "Sure, I'll take you back to the bouncy house," she replied and went with Lissa's father and Bing back there. She set the kid back down at the bouncy house. "Have fun!"

She looked over at the father and pulled a little business card out of her pouch. "Here, take this. Send anything you want signed over to this address. It'll come separately from the regular fan mail, so it'll stand out a bit more and not risk getting lost in the shuffle," she explained. "It was good to meet you, Mr. Wilkes."
