  Adam   dropped  back, the  D-line  was   trying to break through, but the O-line was fresher, and in better  condition, that's to workouts  and  rotation.

any Highschool QB. could   see the  Deep  Drops  by the  4   DB's  and the outside backers   ..but. the one backer  was chasing Mik  down the filed.. and  Master  was way over top  Harley..   Without even thinking..  , with No backer to worry about.. Adam Zipped  a pas  towards  Harley...expecting her to turn and look for it..

Harley had already run a few 9-9-9 plays, but this was the first 9-9-9-9. It called for everyone to go deep, which meant a hard sprint towards the end zone. Masters was moving up on her, and when she took off, he was right there. Someone on the defense called out "DEEP", to which Masters raced ahead trying to beat her deep. He was fast; in a strait up run he was faster than she was. Once he got a lead he turned and started looking for the ball. Mik wa being chased by Fields and Ben had Duce. They were all deep, and Ben drifted towards Miks side, leaving her alone and effectively beat. But alone meant open, even if she was short on yard.

Sensing that Adam might have seen that she turned just in time to see the ball coming in like a torpedo. It stung her hands and almost bounced out, but she managed to grab it again and pull in. Turning up field there was a lot of Green, but Fields, Duce, and Masters were all coming in. That was only a moment, however. Ben slammed Duce so hard it spun him around, and Mik knocked Fields off his stride making him tumble. Masters was the only one left.

Going for yards, Harley raced Miggie to the place where they would eventually meet. He came in fast, and she had too much momentum to cut. It was going to be a big hit. Just as Masters reached her, she jumped and drew her knees up, curling around the ball. Miggie's hit sent them both airborne, and when they hit the turf, they rolled twice before coming to a stop. For the first time Harley needed a moment to catch her breath. She was glad for the first time that Masters was slow to get off her. When he was away, she jumped up like it was nothing, looking around to see how far she made it. She was on the Jets 33.

  Adam was  herding the   O-line   up to the ball as the Ref  spotted it. He Gave Harley a bit of a smile , Nod  and wink at the play she just  made.

 Adam called   the  Quad  9s  again, but at the last minute  told  Miles  to block for a draw..he  said something to  white.  The receivers took off hard..the  defended  Back off  and White   sailed  right past Havers   between Miles  and  Maller for a Gain  of  8.

     The rush was  bothering Adam. the O-line  was  Pushing them around. havers, who had  been a threat was getting doubled   teamed  by  Miles  o-line  calls, as the Center  counted of  Adam  to get out  of troble with his legs.

  head turning as his  eyes  moved, he saw White  put up a  hand   and dropped  a   touch pass into the Bucket... Moses  was damn lucky to  grab him before White  could get into gear. 14 yards.

  Still Hustling to the  Line.. Adam flat out Grinned at the jets.. havers  glowered back   he called  for a max  Blitz...

 Penall ran down to  try  to get Havers to call it off..he had to be restrained  by a player so as not to leave the Coaching Box

  when the Ball came   back the grinning Adam  watched the   backers   attack.. White  stayed home   to    pick up  Fields .. Havers  got beat up again,,Aand Adam waited   for the   first dragon to see the   void the LBs  left behind as they charged to 'teach Adam a lesson'

Adam  turned to the ref  as  he blew the whistle for the Play Clock to start..The Ref announced.Number   53  is eligible

The Jets saw  Miles Lined up as  fullback with  Mike  behind him... they drew  closer and as  Adam surveyed the   field like a ship captain...SHIFT!!!

  Mik  went into motion  and set.. Adam watched  to make sure, Mik was set...  Adam slapped his hip on Heather's side...Heather  went in  Motion  Adam looked at Havers,, then   Duce...SHOWBOAT... LUCKY..SHOW BOAT..LUCKy!

 Havers  took  two  steps to the Dragons' Left.. Duce  did as well and creeped up.. The Ball as    snapped ,   Adam  turned. and   jammed the  Ball into Miles  belly, then accelerated    and  pretended  protecting  the ball as he  sprinted  to the loaded side.. The Jets   moved.. and the O-line   fired out  on the  D-line.. No linebackers  to  help.. Miles lowered his  shoulder into the DT,, and was into the Endzone

.. Adam   'followed his Blocks" Until he saw the Ref's  arms go up , and he jumped  and Punched the  air... Dragon Fans    Screamed..  and the dragons   flamed and roared

 Miles's O-line  buddies  mauled him ponding his pads  ,,he was grinning holding onto the ball for dear  life..His  eyes  Moist  as he looked  around at the cheering Fans..

 when the O-line let him Go , he held the ball up for everyone to see.. and  another  round of cheers

 Adam stood  after   whacking Miles  , who gave him a Bro hug..

  Havers  Yelled  as he was bent over  . hands on his  thighs..YOU SUCK BRONK!

 Heather came out for the PAT, she lined up and got everyone ready, then she nodded to Adam and the ball was snapped, Adam caught it and put it down and Heather came up and kicked it through right down the middle. Heather gave high fives all around, then went and got a tee from Lissy Dragon, then went back out for the onsides kick.

 Heather got ready and when the ref blew the whistle Heather came up and slammed the ball hard into the ground it popped up real high and went to the Jets 40 where Nosh caught it and began to run. Heather moved to cover the lane, but she got blocked hard, and hit the turf. Heather got up and saw Nosh breaking through again. Heather ran as hard and as fast a she could putting everything she had into catching Nosh.

 Heather was gaining and she had an angle, Heather saw Nosh holding the ball sloppily in his right arm. When Heather caught up to Nosh she slapped the ball out of Nosh's hand, and he fumbled the ball. Heather jumped on the ball and recovered it at the Dragon 30 saving the touchdown and getting the ball back.

Adam looked  around the  Huddle..so? coach wants us  to practice   the  4 minute football...keep possession  and try to score... Heather?  if  we get bogged down in FG   territory. we'll get, just to get the FG  team a rep .....Now..there isn';t a person in the world, watching the game, that doesn't think we're going 9-9-9...well we're goign quad  9s again.. Klay.. chip    and find a hole..everyone else.. lets see how much more damage we can do!

 they  left the Huddle,   Adam gave   Harley a wink... Bet you never  felt like this in your life!

  Adam  dropped  back,, he looked over the defense. The starters  were still out there.That was good for the  Jets,,in that  , most of their starters  were willing to play..but bad, because there are guys  sitting on th bench who were fresh, and hungry . But to Adam,,he didn't see  that..he saw  demoralized, tired ball players, and his  people  were  so jacked up for  every play, it was ...almost..unfair.

  The Ball was snapped  Adam , in the  Gun, only took one more step back, before stepping into the throw.

  Adam set up, He saw   Fields drop  and   tried to get the Ball to Mik in a Hurry.. Mik  was surprised  but   Caught  the  ball and fell.. Fields  jumped on him

  when he dropped   back the   tired  Jets   moved to talked away their  coverage..  he lookd to Ben.. and saw  a green jerset with a bit more  seperation, He turned   and Laid the  ball out  for Harley.

9-9-9-9 again. It was working over and over so why change it? Especially since the Jets still had to guess or respond. The ball went back to Adam and Harley charged right at Miggie. The corner backpedaled as she came, but was still looking for her to pull the same maneuver as she did before. For her to beat his height and speed, she need him to commit one way or the other. The good news was the fire in his eyes. He was determined to get her no matter what this time. But she'd seen that with fighters, and it was always a pitfall.

Looking right into his face she went straight at him as if to block. She hoped he's brace, but he actually dropped his shoulder and charged back as if to meet her. But she was feinting. Once he set, she juked to the outside. He overshot and she was clear. Adam must have seen it. The ball came in straight, and she bolted up the side line as soon as she had it tucked on the outside.

Miggie gave chase. He was faster, but not by enough for the thirty yards left. Fields and Duce tried to come in, but Mik and Ben were right there and herded them into a collision, leaving both defenders on the turf. With only ten yards to go Miggie dove. He came up short, planting facemask first into the green. Harley saw the refs throw up their hands as she crossed the line.

TOUCHDOWN!!

Curling around in a wide arc, she met up with Mik and Ben for hugs and pounds. Then went through the gauntlet of celebration to give Adam a big hug. After the celebrations she headed for the sidelines.

    Adam  jogged  down,  again . letting her revel in her  teammates  as they celebrated with her.

  Miggie  was standing there.  . he eyed    Adam, with hate...You come out here ofr one more    Soeries  I';ll.....

 Adam   Snapped hard  and Loud  at him..You'll get another  3rd  degree assburn..., Get out of my sight, Bush leaguer.. we get the ball again..I'll go right  at you!

 Before  they could do anything. the Pony Tailed Lady Ref   split the, apart. Sending  Miggie away..

 I've done  3  games in the last 5 weeks   with you in it...there is always  haed feelings...why do you do that..

Adam shrugged as he saw   Harley running towards him...Its a Gift!  she smiled and shook he r head.. Adam  have her the 'swing around  ' hug, and  let her go to the  bench

  He  caught  Sims  signal and  said to heather..Kick the Point, and on side..

 Heather then headed out for the Kickoff, they got lined up and then the ref's blew the whistle, Heather ran up and kicked the ball hard into the ground. The ball bounced up and over the first line, Nosh grabbed it and started his return, Heather held her line but had to cut downfield and came in like a missile again hitting Nosh Hard and legal into his side, taking Nish down at the Dragon 40 yard line.

 Heather smiled at Nosh, and headed back to the sidelines.

 Adam  was dropping  back and fade to the dragon sideline a Bit.. Lucas Buried  Havers,, ,,Adam couldn't  see hrely because   Master was between her  and Him...that mean..heshe was ahead of master  and   Adam   threw the ball to Drop a Dime over his ehad, hoping he  could get her  in stride.. he  figured she'd  catch it   at the 35....

Lined up again for Quad 9s. Harley raced up downfield on the snap. Again she was running a slant, but this time Masters didn't try to beat her. Whether he let her by or he saw something that made him hesitate, it didn't matter, she was past him. With a clear shot between her and the goal, she looked over her shoulder. She couldn't see Adam because Masters was between them but still close. That's when she realized he was trying to use his height advantage to get the pick. At this point, she didn't think Adam would throw it to her, but to her surprise, she saw it arcing down from over head. It was going to land in front of her so she raced up to it and caught it over her shoulder. Masters hand came over down on her shoulder, grabbing her jersey and trying to pull her down. It was a classic attack with a classic defense. Spinning around his grip, she broke free, causing him to trip forward. Duce was driven away by Ben and she saw no one else between her and paydirt. 30... 20 ... 10 .......... Touchdown! First down, first play, 76 yards and score. She hopped and screamed, curling back towards her team for her victory slaps. She high fived Ben and Mik, and hugged Heather with a big crash. Then went back to Adam for her spinning hug.

"Wooooooooooooooot!"

 Heather ran to Harley and hugged her back with a big crash, " Wow you had a game thats for sure."

  The O-line  whacked her  pads.. Mik  ran back with her , staying out of the way of the /spin hug'

  Adam   was  smiling      as the crow d roar....The crowd  knew, they were seeing history this game in dozens of ways..but none bigger then the  woman who seemed to be very comfortable with the game she is learning.

Adam waited  for  the Signal then Looked at Heather.. kick and Onside.

 Heather smiled at Adam and said," Hell yes." Heather lined up for the PAT, when she was ready, she nodded to Adam and the ball was snapped. Adam caught it placed it down, and Heather kicked it a little off center, the ball went up and to the right but stayed inside the right post barely. The kick was good, Heather gave high fives then went to get a tee from Lissy Dragon.

 Heather came back out for the kickoff; she lined up and when the whistle blew Heather pounded the ball hard into the ground the ball goes over the first line hits ad bounces up towards the Jets 40 and the middle of the field. Heather covered her lanes in case someone got through.

No rest for the weary. That was how the saying went but Harley wasn't weary. She was electrified as if she was on amphetamines and coffee. Not that she ever did that, or would admit to it in polite company. She ran out to her position for the kickoff as if it was the first one of the game. The Jets were tired, but she was wired.

When heather kicked the ball, it bounced high, coming down into the arms of #40. She couldn't remember his name. She charged in as he got behind his blockers, but she found a seam that she was small enough to slip through. The runner was strong, but this was just like those drills on the first day practicing with Adam, Mik and Heather. Dropping low, she wrapped him up for a take down. His legs never stopped, so neither did hers. He was stronger, but she hit him from the side and had his center. After just a hint of resistance, he went over and she went down on top of him.

When the whistles blew, she jumped up offering him a hand. He looked up at her, frustrated, but then his eyes softened and he took her hand up.

With the defense taking the field, she wrapped up Heather's shoulder pads and found the sidelines with her.

 The  Jets  came out  heads  down, hands on hips,This wasn't fun for them, it hasn't been fun since halftime.. The dragons were  heartless.. and all the jets wanted to do is get out  with no one getting hurt.

 The  First Play  a, a Pitch  to Noshm  who turned Up   Filed  ,  as Wheeler  came up to meet him,      Nosh  lowerd his  pads   and slammed into him, , making sure  that he fell in bounds.

After the  2 Minute  warning. Hollen huddled the  team.they  came up  , the snap  came back  , he  rolled to his right J-46  and Hit Egan with  short pass,, he turned up and was tacked by  hear..again..making sure he stayed in bounds.

  Hollen  and the Jets stayed in the Huddle,  until 12 seconds where on the play  clocks.. The Ball was snapped  and  Hollen  took a  step back as if to  Pict to  Nosh,  but    ran hard into the Line, pick up of 2..for a 1st down

   again , they  stayed in the Huddle  and came up  with 10 seconds on the  play clock.  Nosh  took a   Pitch and turned up filed   way too soon.  and was tackled  by Prince  John for  3..

  they  didn't even Huddle   they just stood  there.. some jets players  walked to the sidelines.. other started to shake hand s with the   Dragons on the filed... when the  3 0s  hit.. The stadium exploded ... Dragons  roared , the fireworks went off, all around the rim of the stadiums...  the Cartoon  Jackie held a  sign " SUPERBOWL HERE WE COME!  the players  made their way to the field.. at least half the jets ran straight for the  Tunnel,,,Penall was headed straight for   Sims

Harley never sat down when the defense took over. The clock was ticking and even she knew enough to understand that the Jets would run out the clock. They were very effective and the last two minutes really only took two minutes. With thirteen seconds remaining, they didn't even huddle, they just shook hands with the defense and the game was over. Punching both fists overhead, she hopped and walked out to the field to shake hands or high five whoever didn't slink back into the tunnel.
