Okay, I'm assuming that all character advancements that are going to be submitted have been submitted.

Ok, back from Seattle now (very much enjoyed the trip).
Apologies for my slow posting then - looking forward to getting stuck in again this week!

Hey all!

Sorry for the delay.  The only thing worse than dealing with bronchitis that doesn't want to leave is doing it with a gall stone attack.

I'm back and catching up and will write soon.

Re: Puppet Theater II (OOC part 2)
Stacey,

At first your suggestion had me wondering about the plausibility of drugging the guy who is our map.  On second thought, from what we know of the medication, your idea should work just fine.   It may leave him a bit fuzzy, but other than that, why not?

Who has the extra "special sauce," for a refill  ...grinning...

Without knowing how close we are, we might not want to go through with that plan.  If we are only five minutes out from our destination, it could pose serious problems if he is under the influence of drugs.  We know from seeing it used during the first night that it will last for (what was it?) twenty minutes.  Maybe the phrase was used to describe them coming out of the agents rooms "like clockwork," or some such.  Either way, timing would be key.

You could always slip the idea to Makani, since she is walking around.

Sorry about my silence of late.  Kids have kept me fairly busy after work lately.  I have been checking in via phone lately just to keep up.  I am going to try to post something up tonight.

Re: Puppet Theater II (OOC part 2)
Probably too late to try drugging him now unless we're about to land. Although you could just ask him how far out we are and if there is a little time for privacy in the back? If he says there is time, then there is time.

Cole, we've missed you! Hope the kids are keeping you busy in a good way (i.e. demanding play time, rather than being ill or something).

Re: Puppet Theater II (OOC part 2)
Hi all, I just wanted to check in, let you all know I'm still around.
As I explained to Shan a little while back, I've had a rough few months, computer problems, health problems and a very sick cat who eventually had to be put to sleep.  I'm pretty much managing to get my head back in the game now though so hopefully Jin will break her silence...Not that there's much we can really say in front of our pilot.

<echo Burne>Yip, welcome back - and sorry for your loss</echo Burne>

I think Travers is waiting for some input from one of you folks. Stacey is 'just the pilot' so its probably not appropriate for him to chip in.

Re: Puppet Theater II (OOC part 2)
Hi there, loyal players.  I apologize for neglecting the game for the past several weeks.  I've been afflicted with an incredible array of illnesses, some of which are have been my close companions for weeks, if not months (flu, colds, sinus infections, Eustacian tube infections causing partial deafness, etc.)  Combine that with some family issues, and I just haven't much felt like doing anything other than sleep in my spare time.  I know that several of you have been facing issues as well, and I hope everything gets resolved soon.  As for me, I expect my health to start improving, and with it, my posting in the game.  It still won't be as often as I'd like, but it will be oftener (I know, that's not a word).

I should have a post describing the arrival at the destination in a day or two.  You all have been amazingly patient, and I hope eventually to get back to our previous posting rate.

Thanks.

Re: Puppet Theater II (OOC part 2)
All my best to you Shan!

No worries about the posting rate.  Life must always be the priority, not an online artifice.  If we show each other the patience necessary to life's demands, than we build a camaraderie and friendship, rather than leave acquaintances at arms length.

Things will improve.  The once certainty in a secular world, is change!

Yeah believe me, I know the feeling. I had to put my Exalted game on semi-perm hold till I settle down, tho it's now at like 2k+ posts, because I'm just drained. So yeah I know the feeling.

Sorry for the short reply.  At the hospital and bouncing between taking care of the new mom, trying to feed one of the twins, chatting with Makani, and coming up with a sensible post.  I have failed on at least the sensible post I am sure.

Re: Puppet Theater II (OOC part 2)
Just back in from visiting a friend in Indiana.  One more thing checked off the bucket list before going in for surgery on the 8th!

I'll catch up on the reading tonight, and try to have a post up on the morrow.

Good to see you all!   And glad to hear you are taking care of Mom and the little ones Cole!
