So, question...how much of what Juragga says gets translated by UY, as he's saying it?  Seeing as I don't speak Wookiee, his editorial comment on the report would be lost on me, without a translator...with a translator, he'd get a different reaction.  (He'd get a reaction from me, either way, I just need to understand which one to flesh out...*grin*)

I'd say that with the amount of time you've spent with Juragga, you could probably get a rough idea of what he's saying, but not the actual words.

Online dice rollers hate me... not just in this game... everywhere. O_O

Star Wars games that I've been associated with seem to have 'dramatically appropriate dice'...if it's a relatively minor thing and could actually become comedic somehow, they'll crap out on you consistently.  But I've also seen people who couldn't seem to succeed at ANYTHING during a game session where nothing serious was happening suddenly become lethally effective when it became a life-or-death moment.  I had a character that was notorious for racking up multiple 6's on the wild die whenever it was a 'if you miss this shot, people are going to die' situation.  He was usually effective...but when the chips were down, the dice were up.  Lent itself really well to the 'epic heroism' feel of the game...*grin*

Did you read the full response?  It's been making the rounds on Facebook the last couple of days.  The guy who put it together is brilliant, and went way above and beyond the call of duty, I feel, in coming up with a very intelligent (and amusing) response to what is really a very asinine petition.

Actually, amongst many of the people I know, there seems to be a prevailing opinion that there's no room for religion and science to share the same space.  Most of those expressing this opinion are firmly in the 'science' category...which makes me laugh, a bit, because they're also the ones who complain most vehemently about how inflexible the 'religion' crowd happens to be.  Being pretty moderate on most things, I kinda sit back and laugh to myself about how excited the extremes get on their pet subjects...*grin*

...I just thought it was an amusing joke...  :(
