I remember a guy in one of the tabletop groups I played...he was playing a wannabe Jedi, and every time he tried to do anything extraordinary, even before he had any Force powers to speak of, it was prefixed with 'Jedi-'--Jedi-leap, Jedi-run, Jedi-hit, etc...

Dak's comment reminded me of it because as I looked at the dice-roller explanation, the first thing that came to mind was 'Wookiee-bash'...*grin*

Yeah, and the dispassionate text makes it so much more hilarious. I imagine a slightly posh British guy narrating it in a slow, even tone. Snort.

I probably won't be around much for the next few days...it's my birthday tomorrow and I've got some (very loose) plans, and then I'm spending a few days consulting some friends on a video project they're getting ready to shoot.

Y'know...one of these years, I'm gonna have to resign myself to the fact that I'm middle-aged...*grin*

I'm probably older than you, but then, Wookiees are long-lived. ;)

My kids are on spring break next week... so... my ability to post is uncertain.  I may actually have MORE time... or not.  Just depends. I'll try to keep up!

It was DEFINITELY a memorable birthday!  Went to see Evil Dead: the Musical--after the show, the cast was taking pictures with people so I got in line, thanked them for making my birthday such a cool experience--and they launched into an impromptu rendition of Happy Birthday (in about eight different keys and tempos, but it was still cool!)  Then went to a friend's place and had a cozy little celebration, some old friends and some new friends and some food and karaoke--had four of the girls put me on a chair in the middle of them and sing 'I Touch Myself' by the Divinyls...next thing I knew, another friend had a camera out taking shots of me getting mauled (and loving it...*grin*)

Finally wrapped that party up about 4 am.  Yep...it was a good night!  A great way to celebrate the 16th anniversary of my 29th birthday...*laugh*
