Told folks about the video between shows...or, more specifically, when someone was looking at a Cyanide and Happiness comic with their smartphone, I said, "You need to search YouTube for 'Jedi Cats'."  Five minutes later, almost everyone in the cast had seen it and we were all laughing about it.

You know how I know how attached I am to this game? When Rhijans started calling Haarmon 'the kid' again I felt a little pang of guilt, like I'd unfairly wronged poor Haarmon in some way.

And when I read Rhijan's most recent post? I felt a father's pride, "You show 'em Haarmon," I said to myself, and then realized I'm totally insane.

*laugh*  Never realized that the words of my character had so much influence over the emotional health of another human being...

Well, to be fair, my emotional health is questionable at best, anyway. Especially where writing is concerned.

One thing I should maybe edit into that last post with Rhijans calling Dak 'kid' at the shooting range...it'd feel a bit like Han calling Luke 'kid' in the later parts of Ep. 4, where using his name would feel oddly formal (to Han and Rhijans)...but 'kid' was said without any condescension or derision.  At least, at that point.

Haarmon's still young and impetuous and could easily have Rhijans calling him 'kid' in a patronizing fashion again.  But the fact that he made a decent showing with the blaster moved him up a significant step in Rhijans' estimation...*grin*

Duly noted. Although, just because Rhijans doesn't MEAN anything by it, is no reason Dak can't get all upset about it.

Also, poor Juragga, having an existential moment. "Is this what it means to be a Wookie?"

Oh, I by no means intend to dictate how Haarmon reacts to it...just felt it should be pointed out that, although he's still using the term, the inflection has changed.
