Remember how Han Solo rolled a high Con skill check and chased a group of stormtroopers around the Death Star. It wasn't until the troopers had to stop, and turn to face the enemy that they noticed it was only 1 person chasing them.

But I gotta admit, that the NPC's use of the apparent jedi mind-trick has thrown me for a loop :)

Not a very good Mind Trick™, IMO.  Mostly it just caused a blaster to be pointed at his head.

Stormtrooper 1: "Show me your identification."
Ben Kenobi:     "You don't need to see his identification."
Stormtrooper 2: "Shut up, old man."
Ben Kenobi:     "These aren't the droids you're looking for."
Stormtrooper 3: "He said shut up."
Ben Kenobi:     "He can go about his business."

*blasters fire*

Stormtrooper 1: "Now we'll need a tow truck to get this landspeeder off the street."

Shard, I'm actually REALLY glad you over-ruled Mark...

Nothing personal, Mark...*grin*  It's just that swoops don't really have passenger space...especially not when you have two swoops, and three passengers.

Glad it's a moot point, now.  *laugh*

I left it open for Mark to disagree, to pull away, or dodge.  I don't like puppetting.  :(

And that's one of the things I enjoy about gaming with this group...everyone's been very good about not dictating actions for anyone else.  But he did go along with you...and I was happy to see it, because I was trying to figure out some way out of the logistical nightmare that had been presented...*grin*

The fastest way to actually anger me when I'm playing a game is to make my character do anything, even blink.  :)  So I figure, if it gets me so riled up, I don't want to do it to anyone else!  ^_^
