Nope.  That was Maya, a Labrador.  This is Thor, a German Shepherd/Rottweiler cross, and one of the gentlest animals in the world (though he has a very aggressive bark).

Did I ever mention how much I despise the terms "doggo" (when used as a noun) and "pupper" (when use as anything).  Next drifting piece of radioactive space debris that happens by will have Haarmon's name freshly spray painted on it in a very tasteful design, courtesy of Sabine Wren...

I have to admit to a massive wave of envy, looking at that picture.  Ever since I visited Sweden and saw how many people kept them as house-pets, rather than guard dogs, I've been absolutely fascinated and enamored with Rotts and Rott-crosses.  One of my friends had a dog for years that was a Rottie/Australian Shepherd cross, and I loved that dog, even before he liked me.

Really bad timing on my part, but Ron seems to have a flair for dealing with that (and doggies, great picture!...can I say doggies?).  Last time I went for three weeks - five years ago - and nothing seemed to happen in-game (Dor-Tennia), and I was shuffled out of the action.  Which I don't mind.  ^_^

Well, we'll do our best to keep your input on the matter negiligible, if not non-existent.  Nothing personal...

On a different note, I edited my last post...had to look back and find a name that my character wouldn't have forgotten...

I'm not a real big fan of meta-gaming, and I know Ron doesn't run his ship in a way that particularly rewards it, but I can't help but think there's no way he'd dump this crazy Box Jedi on us and then just let us drop it in a star.

Oh, I'm quite certain there are wrinkles waiting to unfold.  But I'm pretty sure that what would happen to us if we tried to keep it would be far worse.

And my character would want to be promptly rid of it in two fronts...the one he'd readily admit to (and us basing his arguments on) is denying the Empire any access to it.  The second is, it's Force-related, and that kinda gives him the willies...especially since it appears that Shard is scared of it.

Of course there's always the chance that I do want you to get rid of it, because doing so will provide a clue for how to deal with a much bigger threat later.  Or maybe it's just a really scary paperweight...

Or maybe Darth Jar-Jar will come looking foe it.

On the other hand, I have different fingers.

Lovely, awesome trip, even better than the first one, and then we ended up stuck on a plane with at least two families of people close by struggling with some grotesque sickness.

Bottom line, we arrived back in Ottawa with bacterial infections, which we thought were viruses for a couple of days until they blossomed into their full grossness.

I'm on antibiotics now and functional, so I'm now capable of trying to catch up.  :D

...and I've missed everyone here.  Even those who celebrate Thanksgiving at a weird time.  :D

Good to see you back.  I'm fighting some weird sinus problem, myself...hopefully, just a bad reaction to the weather inversion sealing so much pollution down around ground level.  Spent most of the last two days bundled up and resting, in part because my car's in the shop getting the timing belt and water pump redone, but I feel better for it.

I had a nasty sinus thing the last week of November. It just killed my Nanowrimo. I'm over it now, thankfully.

Happy New Year!  Off to an interesting start for me...I was working a NYE gig last night (makeup on performers), and got home very late.  Woke up this morning thinking the holidays were over and I'd have to drag myself back to work.  I was really excited to remember that New Years Day is also a holiday!

I had a work colleague phone me at home at 8:30 this morning wanting to know why I hadn't turned up to open the place up at 6:30 like I'm suppose to.  She was shocked to be reminded that today is a holiday.

Luckily she only lives about ten minutes' walk away from work, so she hadn't waste too much time by going in.  :p

We had folks over playing board games and hanging out till late late so we slept in today like bosses.

Back to the salt mines tomorrow, though.
