Re: Games - a.k.a GMs or Players Wanted
Let's see; Games that I would like to play in...

Any game where a traitorous (but still urge-fulfilling) Infernal would be accepted -- I've got a specific character done up for just such a situation, but really I just want to be able to play an Infernal/use their mechanics without being a bad guy :3

I'd also be up for a Martial Arts game, particularly interested in Crane Style with Martial Arts Essence Flow, maybe set in the first age.

And speaking of first age, there was some talk in GMs Wanted about a Ocher Fountain Era Game.   -- I'd be up for that as well - Possibly both in one, though I wil lsay that I'd prefer to begin at a level where I can have access to MA Flow and Wisdom of the Celestial Crane. -- Standard combos annoy me :)

---
Some other ideas
* Mixed Exalt Seafaring Game
* Martial Arts World Epicry
* Terrestrial School Setting
* The Usurpation -- from any particular point of view
* A Malfean Game, but comical rather than dark, inspired by Disgaea, The Infernal Exalted aren't centerpieces, the game being centered around Citizen First Circle Demons. Plenty of setting flex to account for comical fun.
* A Variant Daughter of Nexus campaign for a small group/ a single Infernal Exalt
---

Something else I've wanted to do since the Glories Books came out, though; Play as Luna or the Maidens (Namely Mercury)

Clearly, this will require a GM willing to stretch the canon, and contend with an extremely versitile and powerful character or group. I'd like to see the Unconquered Sun avoided as a PC in such cases even though he's technically got fallibility, unless that GM feels like they can HANDLE his  'better than you' unsuppressed virtue powers.

Re: Games - a.k.a GMs or Players Wanted
I'll play in anything that allows heroism and I'll play in Abyssals games.  Unheroic Infernal games are out.

Why?  I don't like Infernals.  That's it.

I don't care much about how canon is treated; Exalts (re)write the canon, they aren't slaves to it.

I only have one book, the core book, and I still am confused about Charms and other points. I think If I would like a game, it would help explain the workings of charms etc.

Re: Games - a.k.a GMs or Players Wanted
There are two games I really want to play, and both are up on the GMs Wanted Thread.

1) A Dawn of the First Age game
The players take the roles of the Golden Hero Vassals, the minions of Queen Merela at the beginning of the Ochre Fountain era - there is no sorcery then, only brute solar force. They lead armies to expand the dominion of the Queen. I would hope that the eventual climax of the game comes in forming the deliberative - or standing against it.

The real draw is being able to interact with the personalities from the First Age like Merela, Bright Shattered Ice, Brigid, Gorol, Gold-sheathed Arrow, and all the rest, and making creation fit your own image.

I would hope that the game lasted long enough for some of us to get to Essence 6+, with really powerful charms and combos before we fought the last primoridal in the city of Meru...

2) A 'proper' Infernal game
The Yozis were tricked and lied to. Now creation has been userped and look what the Solars are doing to it! They have ripped it appart so badly that even the Dragonblooded can see how terrible the entire place is.

And then the dragonblooded, they cant look after Creatiion properly - the Wyld is eveer further encroaching. The Yozis only want to look after what is theirs. They want to protect it from the neverborn, the Rakasha and especially from the Solars.

Thats where the characters come in - they need to free creation from the shackles of the lies that they have been living under, use demon hordes to reclaim vast swathes of creation and eventually the Blessed Isle itself...

I would love to play in the dawn of the First Age game. While I don't currently have the Infernals book, I might just buy it with the excuse of a good game.

Someday I want to play in a loyalish Abyssals game, by which I mean the PCs would be loyal, but that their loyalty would be frequently challenged. It would take the right players to pull off, but I think it could be great.

Re: Games - a.k.a GMs or Players Wanted
I have been trying to get a GM for thr DotFA game I suggested, but nothing is really happening, and I get the feeling its not going to work. I think we need to figure out another way of running that game, perhaps GMing each other in twos of threes. My idea is a meta-plot table where we all discuss what the overaching story might be, and what the next major event could be, then we each have some sort of GM responsibility for others in the group.

It sounds a little clunky, but its no different to the moderators from the DotFA Academy, or from co-gm sub plots and stuff.  What do people think?

Re: Games - a.k.a GMs or Players Wanted
I think GMing a First Age game is an incredibly intimidating prospect. With the right people, it's definitely possible to run a very cooperative, almost GM-less game. I'd be willing to give it a try, though playing Merela or Brigid would still be a bigger responsibility I don't think I'm up for. It's the sort of game that really needs a stable cast.

Re: Games - a.k.a GMs or Players Wanted
Yeah - I think that if we were to do that successfully, it would have to be with people that could narrate a story and tally up combats. Im glad you think its do-able, because I was simply hoping people might understand that gming Exalted is intimidating.

The ting is, with the First Age Project, people could legitimatly play several different characters, maybe even NPCing in other pairs/ trio's threads.

First Age games can be a fair bit intimidating.  I confess I know little of it beyond the basics, myself.

Thats the beauty of what I am suggesting - its the very beginning of everything, right after the Yozis were sent to Malefas. There is noting to know!!!

That's a bit better, to be fair.  Not so reading hundreds of pages intensive.

Re: Games - a.k.a GMs or Players Wanted
There is like, 1 major NPC, Queen Merela, and then some cannon characters which would be nice to see in the game, and then non-cannons that I think the majority of people expressed an interest in playing.

That's always good; the less canon actually involved in an Exalted game beyond the general stuff, the better.

I'm happy to help out with DotFA fluff if somebody's willing to handle mechanics. :)

I can help with mechanics, but I'm no crack shot with specifics of fluff.
