Now roll to hit. Due to the range the TN is 7. The skill is Throwing (4d10). If you want to aim for the head, that's a -6.

She has 3 Actions available (and 1 Saved). I suggest 2 Aim actions (draw a bead), throw, then keep your saved card to Dodge!

10:25, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 9 using 4d10, keeping the highest dice only, rerolling max with rolls of 1,9,7,7. Shotgun shot on Automaton.
10:32, Today: Peter Firecrow rolled 14 using 4d10, keeping the highest dice only, rerolling max with rolls of 4,2,8,(10+4)14. 2nd blast after a few seconds.

Huh I think I hit with both and the second shot hits with...2 slugs I think.

I assume Rowan is taking an Aimed shot at the head. That will be a hit! 6d6 damage.

Yes, Peter hits 3 times with 6 shots fired (left arm, right arm, lower guts). Damage is 4d6.

I realise that Smoker's FAL has a level of armour piercing but his eyes are watering due to the tear gas. It might be a good idea for someone to flip the table to provide some cover?

My mistake, I forgot to draw a card for Smoker. I feel shame!

You rolled a 5, Smoker gets 2 Actions. Let's say he had a card sleeved from last turn, that should stay in effect.

Drawing a Bead is +2. Smoker is at -4 due to tear gas, net -2 to hit. Range is 8-9m, well within the shortest range bracket for an FN. There's an additional -6 if you want to aim for the head.

Vundra: you can make an Occult Engineering next turn at the cost of 1 Action to determine if he knows something about Automatons.

The base to-hit is always TN5. There is no range modifier, you have taken tear gas and aiming into account. You hit! Roll 1d20 for the location.

Intended actions: to shoot again with the FAL, letting the recoil walk further up the automaton having noticed that it's more troubled by Rowan's skull-thingy impacting the head than having the body shot up.
