Shay Mordred-Spades:
Shay inclined her head in agreement. "I'll go, paid or not." Her eyes indicated she was smiling, but the cloth hid her mouth.

Fred nodded his thanks, pleased at her offer.

"See you onboard, then."

He followed Simon onto the ship.

Jason rolled his bike up the vehicle ramp, parked it off to the side, then trotted down.

Re: The Boise Horror

The other personnel got busy, wheeling the autogyro up into the ground vehicle bay via the ramp, then through a bulkhead into the aircraft hangar.

Jane could see through the open end door that there was about a half-dozen or so ultralight aircraft secured inside the hangar.

Denis and Winnie walked their bikes up the ramp and parked them in the vehicle bay.

Trejo left the woman and Fred and moved over to Simon and crew.  He was the important one after all and needed to get resting somewhere.  He gave Jason a jerk of his head, indicating he needed to be on guard as well.  Things weren't likely to be an ambush or betrayal, not considering the fact they were on a freaking warship.  But he'd rather be safe than sorry.

Re: The Boise Horror

Jane, being the stubborn sort of person she was, stayed on the Technical as long as she could and wouldn't let anybody take baby off except herself.  It was quite obvious that Jane wasn't happy with this plan and wasn't sure what to do once Baby was off.

Peter finally tore his eyes away once more and looked at Jane and the technical. Then he looked back at the airship. Then back at the truck. "Jane...I think we will either need to drive off and not go with....or we will need to unmount the machinegun for travel." He didn't say which needed to happen. He didn't want to push her if he could help it. And he didn't let it show anymore than it already had, but he really wanted to fly.

Walker did his job, out on the perimeter, making sure they were safe as the Vehicle was prepared for Transit.

He kept his eyes on the Forrest and the Road.

Trejo saw Simon to whatever space he would be using for a room and left the new templars with him.  Afterwards, he headed to the closest railing to watch.  Flying was not exactly something one got to do often in the new world, not since Judgement Day or D day or whatever folks called it.  It was a sight he missed.  Might as well enjoy it when he could after all.  So he leaned against the metal rail and took a short moment to watch lift off.

Jane sighed.  It wasn't fair that she should be so...paranoid about baby.  She knew that Peter wanted to fly and she really did want to bring that joy into his life for a little bit.  She finally looked at him.

"Yeah, it looks like it.  Want to help me unmount baby?  At least if we do it I know it won't be so bad."  After unmounting baby and getting the technical on board she turned to Peter.  "You're looking forward to this aren't you.  Have you flown before?"

Peter scrambled up and helped Jane remove the machine gun carefully and then strap it down in the back of the truck. He shook his head at her question. "I...never had the opportunity before the war, and since then, well."

In reply to Peter Firecrow (msg # 338):

Jane smiled at him and gave him a hip bump.  "I'm doing it because I know you want to fly.  I...I'm not sure about it but I'm sure it will be ok.  I was meant to be on the ground from a bad landing.  Besides it's...it's also where it came from.  If I'm with you though it will be ok."  She then stopped and put a hand on his arm.  "Just be close...just in case."

"I suppose you also want to go up in that beast Smoker.  Get your hands on it and see how it works?"

Jane watched everybody get on board and quickly made her way to sit next to Peter.  She wasn't sure she'd like this part but was willing to be shown different.  Besides this would be one of the few times that she got to sit next to Peter during transportation.  THAT made her smile.  Perhaps this method of transportation wasn't that bad after all.

Shay looked back at Fred, she watched him. Her mind going back to the kindness he'd shown her during her desperate escape.  She owed him her freedom.  She'd do her best to even the debt.
