Hi everybody.  I'm down to posting probably just once a day in the evenings for a little bit.  Mom went into the hospital over the weekend and there is stuff to get done before she can go back to the nursing home.  Like setting up comfort care for her.

She's still with us enough to complain that the hospital staff only gave her one piece of bacon for breakfast instead of 6 which is what she wanted.  So I guess we have mixed blessings.  :)

Hi Ian,

Rowan hasn't seen a spell that will detect life or cyborgs, but one that reads auras should basically do the same thing. Perhaps in another spell book...

I would guess something that detect auras would be the most effective. DL doesn't have rules for spell research, but I would guess it would take a lot of time! The spells in DL are descended from older systems of magic, and therefore aren't really tech-oriented.

Looking inside wouldn't help much, even a trained electrical engineer would be baffled at the innards of a Junker device!

The D-20 is a licence-built Damnation 10mm caseless Assault Rifle, made under licence from Hellstromme Industries for the Deseret military (Nauvoo Legion). This is basicaly the same rifle the Combine uses (as the Combine is based in Hellstromme's other industrial hub of Denver) but without the need for a headbanger chip. It can accept a wide range of accessories, most commonly an optical sight, but the D-20 is a stripped down export version.

It's a decent basic assault rifle, firing a heavier round than the NA M22 and relatively small due to the caseless round and bullpup layout:

Just wanted to mention: Not being silent for passive-aggressive or lack-of-interest reasons. Just not coming up with a lot for Kira to do / say at the moment.

I appreciate that.

The PCs might make a point of asking her about herself. The posse has been together through some Hellish times, and the players have been a group for quite a while, years for most of them. But Kira is not just some random NPC, she's going to be joining the posse (both as a function of how RPG groups work and that the posse is continuing as Simon's bodyguard). By the same token, she's actually a pretty average personality and not some kind of anti-social misfit, she can do the same herself.
