  While the article is very true and extremely well written I make the point that I always make. While I wish we hasn't had to resort to violence I can not find fault in thier actions as I was not alive then. The truth is, at least from my very limited point of view, that the American Revolution made any nonviolent dissolution possible. It could be true and heck it might be false, but it is how I see things.

  And now off to deal with riderless motorcycles.

When the pretextual "Enlightenment argle-bargle" is stripped away and considering what was potentially at stake in terms of a power-grab and land-grab, violence was probably inevitable. The foundational myths issuing from the 1st American Civil War (aka the "Revolutionary War") are so deep it almost seems to have taken place on almost another planet and caused by Demi-Godlike beings; who among us could therefore be able to judge what happened by our puny Earthling standards?

(The closest we might have to a founding myth is when "Father of Confederation" and notorious drunkard  Sir John A. MacDonald, I am not making this up, vomited during a campaign speech.)

Man. I'm kind of brain-fried lately. Does anyone have any questions to ask? I thought about asking about the Combine where he's been at, but then I thought would Peter actually need to know? I mean he's certainly not fond of the Combine, especially after the fight with them in Junkyard (stupid Automatons), but...

You can ask about the Combine garrison in Near Cortez CO, although you don't really need to go there (the contact is meeting you some distance from there to avoid this).

If you mean asking about the Combine in Vivian LA, yes, that's a relevant question!

Hi!

Do not fret. This game is not on hiatus!

The last week plus has been crazy! I have been much occupied with work, but as well being able to spend a lot more time than usual with my family. So it's been good in the latter sense, not so good due to the former.
