Yup! I own the physical books but owning the pdfs as well is nice!

Bro Edgar was trying to get to Jerry and cover him to get him back to the groups vehicles.  Was he able to get to him?  Can he escort him back this round?  He made promises.

I ask because Jack is now bleeding and that seems like a magical healing need...

I got promoted at work and now my position includes staffing and payroll. Needless to say it's taking a lot of getting used to and I've been trying to keep on an even keel. That said I'll be relaxing my normally blazing posting rate for the mean time but hope to get back to normal soon!

To the best of my recollection, the lead group (Peter, Jane, Cannibal Jack, Crichton) ambushed a mysterious group driving two rigs. A hoverbike (which you recognise as Rowan's stolen ride) in the lead, a car carrier and then a van trailer. Cannibal Jack sniped the hoverbike rider. The car carrier stopped and the driver got out, running. You recognise him as the hostage you are there to rescue, along with recovering Rowan's hoverbike. The second rig blew up and flipped end-over end. The Humvee group can now take their actions (Brother Edgar already has, so it's Smoker and Trask as Marcela is driving).

The inhumanly fast passengers bolted out, most going for the cars on the carrier, one heading straight for Cannibal Jack. That one slashed Jack in the throat with finger talons, and Brother Edgar proceeded to attempt to strike him with his "walking stick" (Glow Stick). Peter shot at the one releasing the stops so the cars could go free, then Peter shot him. The others have gotten in their cars (souped-up sports cars and muscle cars) and are starting them up. It's difficult to get an accurate count on them as they are moving inhumanly fast.

Re-Restart time!

As you all know, I was promoted last fall to a supervisory position in the Guest Services department at my school. Not being able to post from work, and just being busier in general, really took a toll on my gaming afterwards. While I am lucky to not be laid off, this means as almost everyone in my department was (and I had to wield the axe, which has bummed me out quite a bit) my own workload remained about the same.

But things are so bad here I've been shifted to working evenings (my boss, a manager, has been forced to take over my dayshift position). This means I will now have more time, and wish to go for another restart. Thanks for all of your patience, I am happy if anyone decides they want to go for it again and understand if not.

Just so you know, you got in front of the bad guys. They are now popping smoke, and will likely retreat the way they came.

You rescued the hostage, which was one priority. You were originally tracking down Rowan's hover bike and took out the axe-wielding Anti-Templar riding it, the biker "Kargo". There is a burning semi with van trailer, and a stopped semi with a now-empty car carrier.
